Works great for making blended beverages.
This is the perfect companion for those who start their day with a smoothie or blended drink. I myself need fresh fruit and/or veggies and juice in the morning….or, when late a blended iced coffee/ Frappuccino is the ticket. Whichever it is, it’s blended with ice or frozen ingredients and usually to go.I have used things like my Ninja and a normal blender but neither was designed for this purpose as much as this blender and cup are. There are special blades designed for these tasks. One blade is for the plastic cup while the other is for the glass container. The blade bottoms are removable and have silicon seals to stop leakage. Both the glass container and plastic cup can blend on the blender depending on your preference. The plastic cup includes a lid that closes and seals with a large carrying ring.When I need more power, I use the large container for drinks made with ice. When using just fruit and veggies, even frozen fruit, then the cup is adequate and handy since it’s portable.The blender is simple to use, easy to wash since it’s portable and comes all apart. The bottom of the blender has suction cups that hold it in place while in use which is a great feature. The blender is also more narrow compared to others allowing you to find room on the countertop.While this set up is made with quality materials that should last, and everything runs fine and smoothly in my limited experience, I have noticed the glass containers lid has a very tight seal. This might be good for blending because it certainly doesn’t come off while in use but, it’s very hard to for me to remove. I am a senior which could be part of the problem but I have really struggled to remove it when needed. The lid is also thin and a little on the “cheap” side. This seems to be my only real complaint about the blender set. The motor is fine, runs smooth, easy to use and cleans easily. The blades chop ice and all ingredients quickly and easily. It’s a little noisy but all are that blend ice. Just make sure to add enough liquid while using for a smooth operation.

Here is my review of the GDOR Counter Blender.I got this blender because I like its small footprint,base is 6"w x 6"d x 8"h, and with the pitcher on the base, it's 14 1/2" high. I also got their nut milk maker, which I really liked.The box contained. A base, a glass blender pitcher & top, a to-go cup with the lid, and two different mixing blades.The finish is stainless steel with a black trim.The blender uses 1200 watts. The glass pitcher is a good size and holds 52oz. The to-go cup holds 22 ounces. I like having the smaller to-go cup to take with me in the morning.You get a 6-leaf blade and a 4-leaf blade with this blender.The four blades are for use with the to-go cup.Be very careful removing the blades from the packaging, as they are not protected, and I almost cut myself taking them out of the box. After playing around with the blades' installation, I find that the design could be improved. It should be made to keep the fingers away from the blade during installation. The blender has excellent suction cups on the bottom. Keeps it perfectly in place!As far as how it performs its jobStraightforward function buttonsP - is for pulsing - great for breaking up ice and chunky items1-This is low speed - great for any soft foods.2-This is a fast speed - great for hard foods.Everything is BPA-free- I like that!Has a self-cleaning function also. You fill it with a bit of hot water and put it on pulse, and it cleans the pitcher right out.So we tried the ice crushing first, and it did that with no problem. Ice thoroughly crushed in 5 seconds! This blender has a safety feature: you have to lock the pitcher in place to turn the dial. Once locked in place, a blue light comes on the dial.Then we made ourselves an iced coffee slushie in the to-go cup, and it was smooth and cold with no big lumps of ice! This blender did that in less than 8 seconds! One powerful motor on this blender! The lid fits the to-go cup easily, and it has a handle for easy grabbing! Which is a nice feature for us arthritic people!Then I did some baby carrots on the two-speed, and in seconds, I had pulp! Does everything it says it will, takes up hardly any room on the counter, and is simple to operate. Precisely what I was looking for! I'm pleased with it. I love the design's simplicity, and I would definitely recommend the blender. I give it a five-star rating!

Nicely Designed Blender That Works Well and Looks Great
This blender arrived very well protected in a product box with sufficient styrofoam to ensure that it was in pristine condition when I opened it. This item includes the base of the blender, a 52-ounce pitcher, a 22-ounce travel cup, two different blade components, an instructional manual, a troubleshooting brochure, and warranty information. As a note, the way this product is packed is creatively done to minimize box volume, but if you’re not careful, it’s easy to cut your hand on the unprotected blades that are already attached to the motor.My initial impression of this blender is that it looks far more expensive than it is. The base and control dial are primarily a stainless steel color with black accents that match the pitcher and cup lid. The bottom has rubber suction cups, so you’re unlikely to tip this over while using it. The pitcher is made of thick glass, while the lid, cup, and cup lid are all constructed of sturdy plastic. The pitcher has a center cap that allows you to add ingredients while the blender is running, and the cup has a cap that includes both a handle and a spout that snaps tightly closed.In the past, most of my blenders have had individual buttons for different settings; however, this blender has a single dial that allows you to adjust between four different settings. As a fun extra, the area around the dial lights up a blue color when in use. The blender performs well and feels like it has a powerful motor. I had no issue making a few different varieties of smoothies that included different frozen fruits and ice cubes, all of which this blender chopped to bits with ease.Overall, I think this is a fantastic blender that works very well, is an excellent price, and looks fantastic on my kitchen counter.
