Works good but I wish I had bought the bigger size
Pretty easy to use, disappointed no recipe book, not great for toast (have to turn bread of you want a good toast), pretty compact so if counter space is an issue this is a good size, I recommend using something underneath as it gets very hot and also allows easy movement for plugging and unplugging.
I have 5 stars but it’s more like 4.5 because it isn’t very intuitive at first. It takes a few tries on each setting to figure out how to use it. It has options for toast, bake, broil, air fry, etc. and they each perform quite well once you figure out how to configure it.- I use toast for breakfast sandwiches, garlic bread, and bagels.- Bake I have used to reverse sear a steak (I left it in too long lol) and to make some chicken wings- Air fry I use for everything I normally cook in my old air fryer, but it has a much higher capacity and the ability to cook things that require different temps by using the different racks- I use broil to melt cheese and put a nice color on top of pizzaIt has a wide variety of uses and for the price is absolutely worth buying. It just takes a bit to figure out how to use it.
This little Jimmy comes in handy for just about anything you want to reheat from your favorite restaurant or cook really quickly on your way out the door. To keep it pristine, I use foil to align the racks avoiding oil from spilling to the bottom of the fryer. A quick wipe after every use will ensure this baby looks new for years to come. It's also compatible with my Flatbread /10" pizza plates as I slide them right on top of the rack for a nice crisp reheated meal that just comes alive again in minutes. Make sure to use mittens to remove all Trays and stovesafe dishwear okay ! Play around with the cook settings until you get the hang of how different foods heat/cook under different conditions. It's really not a science test, you just kinda gotta go for it! You'll get the hang of it after a few uses . Would recommend !!
As described
There was nothing to like except the look and amount of counterspace it used. It was confusing to use and worked badly when you did use it, was incompatible with any directions for air fryer recipes, had a horrible seal so you'd smell "fry" odor for hours after use and my eyes would sting while sitting in the living room, like it was burning everything. The capacity was also not compatible with any air fryer recipes, and in fact couldn't feed 2 fit adults. Worse, it threw off more heat than our full-sized oven and I was burned cleaning the counters while over a foot away from it---and it got thrown away directly after that as dangerous and generally unsafe. We had never had an air fryer or combo unit, so we didn't know this wasn't normal. And with Amazon's return policy, there was nothing we could do once we realized what a piece of junk (based on empirical evidence) we'd bought from their site. Lesson learned: appliances should be bought in-store where you can check them out first.
