I was so surprised with the quality of these utensils. As soon as you get them in your hand you can tell they stand out from others. The edge is thin enough that you can actually lift from beneath the food to do whatever it is you need to do, and the handles are long. Quality kitchenware makes all the difference, and these are exceptional and I anticipate many years of service from them.

I really liked the set but was concerned when part of the edge on the slotted turner started to peel off. I was afraid it might be peeling and I pulled the edge off. So far nothing more has come off so I think it was hopefully, a one time thing. I use them almost daily with my cooking and think I will be really happy with them. Would have been five stars if that didn’t happen.
This spatula set has become the favorites in our house. Works so well with our cookwear plus they have a nice weight and size to them. The leading edge of both have a nice bevel to it, perfect for scraping and flipping. The only criticism I can give is very minor and it’s that the slotted one is sometimes a little harder to clean after using with certain foods… nothing unusual for a slotted utensil.Hope this is a helpful review for your purchase decisions.
My girlfriend and I are loving how easily these clean up and the design is also stellar. The exterior is a very smooth finish meaning most things come off very quickly even if washing by hand. They are thin yet strong which is a rare combo with wooden utensils. Highly recommended!
I can't imagine it being better than it is. It's narrower than I expected but that's on me. The finish is smooth, no rough spots or imperfections. It's sturdy and feels like it'll hold up well. The warranty card it comes with is bizarrely premium for a $15 spatula and the idea of a warranty on a spatula is itself odd but I'm not complaining.
As others have stated, there is a layer of something covering the bamboo (lacquer?), so this is not 100% bamboo. It is easily sanded off. Hopefully nothing toxic.My slotted turner: 1) had a different profile than the non-slotted, not nearly as thin on the “working” edge so not useful as a turner, and 2) was chipped on the front edge … obviously not during shipping as the damaged area was lacquered over. Had to tune this up on a belt sander before use.Now basically happy with them, assuming they’ll last awhile, but shouldn’t have had to invest time in rendering the products fit for use.
