Inexpensive confirmation your fridge is working - actual temp as opposed to what the fridge is set
Got a new fridge... curious to know the actual temperature since the display on the fridge only shows what the target temps are, not the actual temp. Very surprised to see that it took over 4 days for a brand new LG fridge to reach the normal operating temp we set it at (37F fridge, -1 freezer). Good to know so we didn't put food in it too soon. Note that the accuracy of the sensors gets better the colder the temperature. Has a 2 degree variance at warm temperatures and gets more and more accurate the colder it gets. I imagine the freezer is pretty spot on. (according to the manual)The range is acceptable. Putting the display module on either side of the fridge surround cabinet broke the connection. But on the counter directly across the kitchen from the fridge unobstructed and the signal is fine. Also has a magnet on the back if your fridge has a magnetic front (a lot of new ones don't)Neat to see the range the fridge floats over the period of 24hrs with the 'hi' 'low' historical display next to the current temp. Up to 42 degrees and down to 32 in the fridge, up to 7 degrees and down to -4 in the freezer.Glad we got this, would buy again. Been in operation a month no issues.

2-Channel Refrigerator Monitor
This is a great product as I recently had a refrigerator stop working. It allowed me to monitor its progress after I repaired it. I also should mention that I bought 2 of these units,This would definitely deserve a 5 star rating if the following 2 items were corrected.1 - I have 2 refrigerators side of each other, and you cannot use 2 of these systems as the second unit picked up one of the transmitters from the 1st.2 - Coming from a process background I was alerted to checking this feature shortcoming. If the base loses the signal from the sensor, it just "locks" on the last good reading it received. This can be a major drawback and there is a signal failure during this period as you will be unaware of anything going on. I know the solution is to move them closer together. However the 1st unit (in the freezer) had a full signal, but the one in the main compartment must have had more blocking it.If neither of these scenarios/drawbacks fits in with your needs, then I would highly recommend this fridge monitor as it has a lot of useful features and is very stable.

I was a little skeptical due to the low price but what the heck, I took a chance. I was shocked with the range. I put one sensor in my overflow refrigerator and one in a chest freezer in the basement. I didn’t think it would read the one in the basement because of the distance but it does and has not lost the connection. I’m buying another one just to have it and I highly recommend

Started off good
I like the way it displays the Freezer and Refrigerator temperatures and it was accurate first, however the Freezer sensor stopped working several times. The display panel indicated that the batteries were low. After replacing with new batteries and checking the "old" ones, it turns out that the batteries were fine. Replacing the batteries did not cure the situation. The display was "frozen" and would not update until I removed all of the batteries from the display, including the Lithium button battery, and then put them back. Besides being very inconvenient, this did reset the display but all of the historical data was lost. Lately the display for the Freezer has "frozen" up (stopped working) again at 5.2° F (Inaccurate) and the situation is no longer tolerable.I tried to get technical assistance by calling the telephone number provided on the product page but that was a joke! They had me on hold for over 30 minutes saying the that my call would be "answered in the order received". But no one ever answered. It is a sham!My recommendation is to find another product that works properly and has real customer support.

Not satisfied it’s hard to set and the alarm isn’t loud at all. I have it “set up” but just to tell temp. I still can’t get it set to min temp or max temp.
