Great quality containers and a kitchen essential
These glass food storage containers are fantastic. They come as a set of 4, and are 52 oz per container, which is large enough for me to store the equivalent of 2-3 servings of leftovers, as example. But they can be used for storing any number of food items, like crudités or chopped veggies, homemade salsas, marinating meats, etc. The lids provide an airtight seal that prevents leakage (including food smells); they're lined with silicone gaskets that can also be removed as needed for cleaning and dishwasher safe along with the containers and lids themselves.The containers are a heavy weight, relative to their size, so not overly so, but great quality. They feel substantial and they're easily stackable with lids applied for a clean, orderly look in the refrigerator/freezer, or in the cabinet if nesting the glass dishes without lids attached.I love that the glass doesn't absorb odors or flavors from the food contents within them. Their substantialness makes them feel quite durable and like they'll last many years with proper care. They can handle the microwave (minus the lids), oven at high temperatures, as well as the freezer and dishwasher (as mentioned). The lids are also noted as being BPA free, which is always very important in our household to avoid leaching harmful chemicals into our food. Given the overall quality of these containers, I think they're definitely worth the price and a kitchen essential/must-have at this larger size; I now have all sizes from the smallest to the largest and love them all.

If you're looking to replace your plastic storage with glass, these are the containers for you!!We use them to store items on the counter and in the fridge. As you can see, they hold about 6 muffins, with plenty of room.The seal is excellent. Along with the clasps that hold the top on, these have a great airtight seal.The glass is thick and durable.They stack nicely on top of each other, making for easy storage.I would highly recommend these if your looking to make the switch from plastic to glass!! Much better than plastic for food storage.
This set of glass food storage containers arrived well packaged and in good shape. The glass base is thick glass that will be very durable.The size in the listings states this is 9.2"L x 7"W x 2.95"H, and this is accurate. This is a good size for left overs or average sized side dishes such as vegetables. The listing photo showing a baked chicken with room for veggies is a bit deceiving, unless you have a very tiny chicken.The silicone gasket helps to prevent leaks from liquids spilling out when tipped.As shown in my last photo, these can be nested to reduce space needed for storage, which helps in the organization of my over stuffed cabinets. Be very careful if you nest your glass bases, they are a tight fit and easy to chip.Currently, these are working great! These are a vast improvement over my older Ru66ermaid that is stained and has lids that are starting to crack and split. I am trying to get rid of all my plastic food storage containers to avoid exposure to microplastics, and have been converting to glass storage containers.I have only one negative observation from previous experience with similar styled containers. The lid is plastic, and the hinges that clamp to the glass base are also plastic. Bending the plastic hinges repeatedly to open and close the lid on containers like these stress the plastic hinges and they eventually crack, break, and fall off, making the lids useless. I frequently see stacks of containers like this at thrift store missing lids. For now, these are working well, but I do not believe the lid hinges are a durable design.I prefer containers similar to these that have glass lids with a wide silicone seal. These seem to be more durable, but that is a personal preference.

I've used them in all and they have held up really well.The lids are thick plastic with a rubber style gasket that makes them airtight and leak proof.The lids fit snug and tight, but not so tight you can't unsnap them. The snaps are removable as well as the gasket for cleaning.I use them mostly to store left overs in the fridge and to reheat them in the microwave.A 4 pack of these are affordable and well made. Overall, I think these are great. I really like the size of them, they're low enough that you can stack them easily on a single shelf but also larger than a lot of the other options. The glass is well made and the lids are easy to seal. The only negative I have is that wince they don't have a vent sealing anything warm has a tendency to make a very strong seal that can be hard to open. Aside from that one minor issue, they do great in the dishwasher and microwave and after a month of daily use show no signs of wear.
