It's a great decorative piece.​Material & Texture: The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the metal feels a bit "soft" or flexible. Simple, nice fruit basket

This basket is made of metal but is very lightweight. It comes in a semi-gloss black finish. It measures 10 inches in diameter at the widest point, and is about 4 inches tall. I took a photo with some bananas in it so you can gauge the size. It seems fairly sturdy and has 4 rubbet feet on the bottom so it will not scratch your counter or table, neither will it slide around too easily.The construction is ok, but the paint has some slight imperfections, mostly visible in the bottom plate.I can recommend this fruit basket if you like the style visually, but for the price I expected a little better fit and finish, so I'm giving it 4 stars.

This fruit basket is light weight and well made. The soldering is precise as is the space between the wires. I liked the spiral pattern at the base.The wires are double sandwiched between two plates in the base for added strength.The bottom has four felt tabs to avoid any surface scratching.At the time of review, the fruit bowl is $19, a good price for what I consider quality workmanship and engaging design.
