This rolling pin is amazing. Big around and super wide. It is metal so it gets super cold if you put it in refrigerator before you get started. The rings that serve as depth of dough guides work well. When I roll out different doughs for different cookies or pie crust I need varying depths and this does it for me. Keeps my dough depths uniform for each batch.

I especially like the ruler markings on both ends of the pin—they make it simple to gauge the size of what you’re rolling.The smaller thickness rings were a little snug to remove at first, but with a bit of jiggling they came off fine. I’m also adjusting to rolling without handles, since my old pin had them, but it already feels intuitive—and clearly this method works if generations of Italian grandmothers swear by it.A big plus is that it’s dishwasher safe, which makes cleanup easy. And although the listing didn’t mention it, the included silicone baking mat was a nice surprise and very useful. Overall, a well-made, thoughtfully designed tool that feels practical rather than gimmicky.
