Purchased these for a Mardi Gras party and they were perfect. Nice and thick - I can reuse multiple times. Even though they are plastic, they are clear and durable. They were a little more than I wanted to spend, but for the quality I think they were a good value.
These are the perfect glasses for drinking cocktails in the yard and hottub.They are pretty, sheer, perfect size and sturdy enough without being too light or heavy weight.We do put them in the dishwasher but be careful to position them securely so they won’t get rotated around by the water and therefore scratched on the inside as happened to one of mine. We’re not worried about the scratches as these are for functional use but another way to avoid that obviously is to wash them by hand! The others are fine and no scratches even after many times in the washer.Probably would not be so effective for hot drinks, so need a different solution for winter.
These are great party glasses. Threw them in the dishwasher and came out like it was glass.How they were shipped scared me when I opened the box because they were in a thin paper sleeve of sorts and all thrown together in a box, no other padding. But fear not, not even a scratch on any of them. Tough plastic hurricanes that look like glass.
I would have given these a 5 Star however, they put stickers on the bottom and the glue has been ridiculous to get off. I don’t understand why companies put stickers on products like this. Otherwise, they are good quality plastic glasses that for outdoor use.
I bought a dozen of the 15 ounce size hurricane glasses over three years ago in 2020. They still look awesome, and none of them had cracked or broken. I love these glasses, they make my patio cocktails look and feel so tropical, like I'm vacation. 15 ounce size is a great size in my opinion, works well with my Ninja 16 ounce blender cup allowing me to make drinks individually and then pour directly into the hurricane glass and then garnish. Although the price as gone gone up $10 since I bought them, I still would recommend them for your summer cocktails. These are so much safer than glass ones and I love that they are clear, highlighting the colors of the various tropical drinks as you can see from my photos I posted. Just buy them, you'll love them as much as I do. Cheers.
This is exactly what I was looking for to get ready for a Mardi Gras party. They held up to the dishwasher and are a great size for a traditional hurricane recipe. I read that some were complaining about the silly prop 65 stickers. Two things about that - either I have insane sticker removing skills or it really just isn't a big deal. I was able to remove the stickers from 24 of these glasses quite easily with just my fingers. No soap. No other "tricks". If someone wants to hire me to do this for them I'll gladly offer my services for the right price.
Looked fine until I actually got them and noticed how absolutely cheap and shotty the plastic was. The first thing that jumped out at me is that the "glasses" were filled with dead bugs which means they were not stored properly in whatever moldy old Chinese factory they were constructed in.Also listed nowhere on the product page is the warning stuck to the bottom of the glass stating the material it is made of can cause cancer.I will absolutely be returning these. I wouldn't pay $2 for the set.
