Exactly what we were looking for!
Oh we loved using this gingerbread house cookie cutter set! It was exactly what we wanted!The pieces were great sizes, we were able to just use the walls and roof pieces with ease (didn’t bother with the other smaller pieces this year).We did a dark chocolate cookie instead of the gingerbread, and we actually all loved it! The house was so cute! It was sturdy and held together perfectly. We had no issues with the pieces bending out of shape.

Fun for the whole family
I made sugar cookie versions instead of gingerbread and they were easy to assemble and made cute little houses. I did make sure to label the various houses right out of the package to keep all the random rectangles sorted. We will probably use these every Christmas.

Cute cookie cutter set for small gingerbread houses.
I ordered this Gingerbread House Cookie Cutters Shapes Set, Large 3D Gingerbread House Kit for Kids, 10Pcs Stainless Steel to use for holiday baking.This set of cookie cutters is made from lightweight stainless steel, and includes ten different cutters you can use to make gingerbread or other cookie houses.The set is cute and comes in a holiday themed box; it could make a fun seasonal gift or even a stocking stuffer. As a baker, I think this is a fun little set, but not all the pieces are 100% square. You can still make a gingerbread house, but be prepared to slice off a bit of the dough or to use extra frosting to assemble this so it stands square and straight.Additionally, the cross cutter used to make windowpanes will require you to merge the dough of the side of the house with the cross; you need to cut out a window first with the square cutter, then overlay the cross and press the dough flat so no seams are visible before you bake.These are small adjustments; the set is otherwise very easy to use. Be aware that it makes a smaller size house; if you want one of the huge ones you see on display, you’ll need bigger sized cutters. These cutters make small houses just the right size for kids to decorate.At the current price ($7.98) I think this is a good bargain; I’ve seen similar sets sell for much more. The holiday themed packaging is suitable for gifting and adds to the value of the set. This basic beginning set of house shaped pieces is fun for making a gingerbread, auras cookie, or other cookie house for Christmas, and you can also theme this to other holidays by changing out the colors of icing and decorations.I have this four stars; I did remove one star because the larger house shaped cutters aren’t entirely square, but the set is very usable, just allow for some extra icing, or adjusting the shape of the dough.

Behold: my first-ever gingerbread house. Please look at it with your heart, not your eyes, and absolutely do not call the building inspector. I learned many things… mostly that icing is a fickle mistress and gravity is a cruel god. However, the cutters are the only reason it’s still standing; they provided a foundation stronger than my actual life choices.

builds a 6" square house, pieces require work to make 90 degree corners and remove warped long edges
The gingerbread house cookie cutter set from VTUGP takes the guesswork and planning out of gingerbread house building. The set will make a house which is approximately 6" square. The roof, house front, and side cutters arrived a bit warped. I spent a little time reshaping the cutters to make 90-degree corners and remove the bows on a few long edges. After that, the cutters performed fine. I roll my construction gingerbread to 1/4" thickness so the 1" depth cutters work fine. For someone who is intimidated by the planning and engineering of a large house, this is a great set.
