Lots of science behind getting rid of black utensils due to their leeching bad chemicals. So I discarded mine and opted for these. Great purchase. Stylish, sturdy, dishwasher friendly silicone, these made me feel safer, and really perked up my kitchen.
I wish I would have found these products sooner. I own the above spoon, 4 small spoons, 2 small pancake/egg turners 2 soup ladles and 1 meat masher. I love they are silicone and they have held up well in dishwasher no stains. It's just 2 of us now and the 4 small spoons I use for serving.I have all Teflon pans.
This size spoon is so helpful for lifting delicate ravioli out of a pot of boiling water, and also great for serving buffet style.
This is a VERY substantial spoon. A less well-developed one would have been for my use, but there's no reason to ding this one. It's a cheery color and very well made. It's just very hefty.
Docked it a star b/c the color isn't a rich red as the photo shows, but a louder tomato red. A little garish. But I wanted a pointy spoon w/ holes, & I got a pointy spoon w/ holes. Seems sturdy & it's already been quite useful.
