This scraper is exactly what I was hoping to find. It's rigid enough but also flexible at the edges and gets in the corners where a hard plastic or metal scraper won't. It's nice and big, but not too big to toss in the drawer.
This tool is so handy and exactly what every kitchen needs. I make sourdough and regular breads, I am always cooking and baking, and this tool is used daily. Perfect for removing risen dough from bowls, dividing the dough, and not just used for dough recipes. Makes my life easier and such a great price! I bought 2 so I would have a backup just in case.
My dad recently bought a propane griddle. He had been cleaning it with the stainless steel scraper it came with. This worked okay but not great. I found this on Amazon and ordered it for him and he absolutely loves it. The griddle surface is slightly uneven at times due to the steel flexing as it heats and cools, and it's also pebbled, sometimes allowing a tiny amount of oil and crumbs to escape the scraper.This silicone scraper with its fiberglass reinforcement molded in allows it to get every bit of oil and loose food on the griddle surface.I highly recommend this product.
I recently purchased an electric Blackstone griddle and found it extremely frustrating to clean. Due to my floor being uneven, oil/fat/sauce/any liquid would pool at the bottom of the griddle and be super difficult to guide to the drip tray. I thought to myself that a silicone squeegee would be perfect and found this product! For starters, I love the simple, all-throughout black color. It’s the perfect match for my Blackstone cart and all of my kitchen accessories. It also feels quality for the affordable price. It’s easy to hold and I absolutely love the various angles on it that allow me to safely scrape every inch of my griddle and non stick pans. It’s a good size too, coming in just under 8 inches long. Not too big that it’s annoying to store but also not too small. For bakers, it’s nice that it has the measurement in inches (and I believe centimeters on the other side) pressed right into the silicone. The only complaint that I have is that the sharpest, thinnest edge is a bit flimsy, but that is not a huge deal. Overall I am really satisfied with this product and am rating it 5/5 stars!
I keep this stored in the bowl of my stand mixer. It is much sturdier than a regular spatula and scraped every bit of dough that was left in the bowl.
I have a few scrapers and this is by far my favorite. It’s sturdy and does exactly what it should!
There's nothing I'd suggest to improve this product.
