GIF products are wonderful! Work well, easy to clean, distinctive colors, comfortable to hold without slipping and nice weight. Heat resistance to high temperatures. Made from environmentally safe materials. Dishwasher safe with no loss of color or integrity. I like that GIF utensils come in different colors. I keep them in a countertop container and the colors make it easy to choose the tool I want.
I have used it for melted butter , olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. It. Has a very light touch and worked well with all 3. Easy to clean.
Likes: size is easy to store and handle, comfortable handle, dishwasher safe, flexible bristles, one piece construction, variety of colors, and non toxic material.
Easiest basting Brush to clean that I have owned. Works great and is easy to clean
It doesn’t have great spread ability specially with olive oil.thats what I experienced.otherwise it looks great
I was skeptical that the flabby, relatively wide "bristles" on this brush would hold and smoothly coat varied surfaces with the appropriate amount of oils of varying viscosity. I used it to apply relatively thin canola oil to a hot waffle iron and my wife used it to brush heavier olive oil onto cold slices of eggplant prior to broiling. We were both more than pleased with the results compared with using a traditional pastry brush. Additionally, the brush clean-up was easy, faster and more thorough than we ever achieved with the traditional pastry brush. We're both sold.
