I had been whisk shopping for some time and was surprised how hard it was to find what I wanted. I wanted a whisk with a heatproof handle that I could lean on the edge of a pan and not melt it. AND not be top heavy and flip out of the said pan like my awful former whisk. I found this one reviewed on WireCutter and they got it right. Excellent whisk! Would repurchase or gift to others!
It’s Stainless and silicone. Both nontoxic materials for cooking which was what I was looking for. I’ve been using it for while now and Its sturdy , and you don’t get any crumbs falling inside the grooves where the metals comes out. That was one of the most important things I was looking for because all my others ones had food getting stuck and getting disgusting. As you can see in the photo the area in between the whisk and handle is sealed off so the food doesn’t get stuck in there.

The best performing, best built most comfortable whisk I have ever used. Stiff where it needs to be. Perfect number of loops. Great handle and great price. Cheers to the company!
Metal handles exacerbate arthritis. I thought this handle would feel more like a gel polymer but it was harder then expected. In it's defense, its much more durable. Washes great in dishwasher. No rusting or warped wires.
I have always used the cheapo discount store variety whisks and they always hurt my hand. I admit, the flashy red handle is what attracted me. Feeling generous to myself, I ordered both this whisk and the smaller, matching one. Fabulous. The larger one is almost too big for me. It would mix a dozen eggs or a cake batter if I had that much strength. The smaller one is more my size and better sized to the quantities I mix. They are fast. I did not realize the difference the extra wires would make in mixing speed. I really, really like these.
It was a nice whisk and felt good to use but it couldn't handle mixing food coloring into a small container of frosting. Junk!
