Wonderful tool

I've had this for a couple of weeks, and I love it. It's big, but because it's made with borosilicate glass, it's light. It has a far more markings than conventional kitchen measuring cups: every 20ml from 100ml to 1000ml, every 100ml from 50ml to 950ml, every 2oz from 2oz to 34oz, and 1/4 cups and 1/3 cups from zero to 4 cups.Because the sides are straight, it's easy to read the markings even viewed backwards through both sides, so I can hold the cup in either hand while I use it.I bought it to measure 1 liter of filtered water (every morning), but I'm starting to use it for everything that doesn't require more capacity -- that is, for almost everything.

Absolute junk

I had similar product for more than a decade. Borosilicate glass, thin, large capacity, about 3 cups or 800ml. Perfect for someone with hands/wrists issues but in need for large coffee/tea mug. Eventually I managed by accident to "knick" the brim of one when putting it away on dish strainer and knocking against a plate. Not available anymore hence enter the hunt.Looks like these designs became popular. Plenty now available but most have bad reviews. I dove and got this product. 4 of them.See attached picture. 3 of those chipped away like in the picture at a tiniest thermal stress. After finishing drinking cold brewed coffee and putting away in the sink and pouring like warm tap water into it. I still believe it is borosilicate glass because I could pour in boiling water to make a tea, but the way these are made, with sharp angle, basically perpendicular between wall and the bottom, there is some inherent stress in that glass and it keeps popping like this. 3 out of 4 is not a coincidence.The 4th one ? Came in with handle having hairline crack at the attachment point to the wall of the mug. You almost could not see it but you could "hear it". Tossed it immediately before anyone could get hurt.Good idea, shoddy implementation. Expensive and not safe.
