Premium Glass, Smart Design, and Keeps the Microwave Clean
I really like this microwave splatter cover. The first thing that stood out to me was the premium glass—it feels sturdy and well-made, not cheap or flimsy like some plastic covers. It does a great job keeping food from splattering while still letting steam escape through the vent holes.A big bonus for me was the included silicone mat. That was a nice surprise and actually very useful. It helps keep the area under the plate clean and adds an extra layer of protection for the microwave, which I really appreciate.The handle is another plus. The plastic handle stays cool to the touch, making it much easier to lift after heating. That said, you should still be a little careful when grabbing it, especially if the food underneath is very hot—but overall, it’s much safer than covers without a handle.This cover does exactly what it’s supposed to do: keeps things clean while still heating food properly. I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a cleaner microwave without sacrificing convenience.

Very Strong Chemical Smell
I don't know about this one. Came in a generic box with a single barcode labeled made in China. The box is lined in foam and it protected the glass lid fine. The silicone mat has a horrible chemical smell and so does the lid handle. I wouldn't heat this up personally. I've never had any food safe silicone smell this strong of a chemical fume like smell. The lid handle needed to be assembled, just screw it onto the glass in a predrilled hole. The lid handle seems to be made of ceramic. It's sturdy, measures 24.5 cm (about 9.6") in diameter and 7 cm (about 3") deep. I'm giving it three stars because it smells horribly and there aren't any inserts with the lid to confirm it is non-toxic. The description on Amazon says BPA free, but there supposedly isn't any plastic in this so that is just a buzz word advertisement to ease the consumer. I won't use this with food at all.

Effective but needs to be bigger
It comes in pieces, and you have to screw the handle on yourself, but that's very easy to put together. It effectively handled splatter when cooking to cover a bowl of soup, no splatter escaped. I kept in the microwave on high at 3 minutes and then touched the glass to see if got too hot, but it was a good normal temperature, and the handle made it easy to remove even if the glass were hot. When it comes to removing a star, it is due to size. It sits on top of a bowl because not tall enough, as shown in the picture, which isn't a huge deal because the bowl is still covered completely since touching the top. If you have a lot piled up or something tall that you want to cover though, this would not be efficient. I also tested it on a normal sized plate, and it doesn't go all the way to the edges. I would expect a splatter cover to fit around the entire plate, not sit on top of it. This makes it wobbly but also makes it so that it's touching your food and cannot fit as much on the plate. It is dishwasher safe and cleans really easily by hand if you don't have a dishwasher, given that it is glass it's easy to wipe down.

Does Exactly What It’s Supposed To Do
This microwave splatter cover serves its purpose perfectly. It keeps food from splattering, helps my microwave stay clean, and makes reheating much easier and less messy. I use it daily now, and it has definitely saved me time on cleanup.It is a bit heavy compared to plastic covers, but that actually makes it feel sturdy and high quality. Besides, i am trying to cut out all plastics. The only thing with this is, it gets really hot ao becareful.I also appreciate how easy it was to put together. No confusion, no complicated parts. Just simple and practical. The vent holes work well, and it is easy to clean in the dishwasher.

Great cover!
This glass microwave splatter cover is great! It is made from thick glass so I’m not concerned about plastic in the microwave. It fits neatly over a plate and I like that I can see through it to see how the food is coming along. The handle is made from a material that doesn’t heat up so you’re able to touch it easily. It cleans up well and can go in the dishwasher safely. I like the mat that came with it. It keeps everything from slipping. I’m just keeping everything in the microwave when not in use and it’s ready to go!
