One works, the other has a defect. I guess they can make one properly half the time anyway…
The lid doesn’t actually seal down like it’s supposed to, it just kind of sits on top with the latch just hanging around the other metal part. The only reason I put 3 stars was because I’m just putting tea bags in them and not any loose product
Lid comes on crooked and is almost impossible to close after you open it. Had to return immediately.
I bought the pair of glass containers to store flour and other baking products. They have been sitting on a shelf in my kitchen pantry and are not used regularly. I took one of the containers that held sugar out recently and found a huge crack down one side. The glass did not split open but it is unusable now since it looks like it could crack open at any time. It has not been exposed to any extreme temperature. The 2nd one is fine so far. Besides one cracking, I was disappointed in the diameter of the containers since they are rather narrow and it is difficult to use a measuring cup to scoop out flour or sugar.
quality is not good...
The storage is not airtight! I threw away the box so now I’m stuck with the jars!
