Best for the money
I was looking for a portable tea set for my RV travels and tried a couple others that were more expensive. Finally, I thought I’d try this one since it had all the pieces I was looking for. I’m glad I did. It’s perfect and a great value for the money. First off, it’s clear borosilicate glass so I can see my tea leaves and the color of the tea. Second, it comes with not just the two little tea cup for sharing but a larger cup for when you’re the only one enjoying your tea. The rubber around the sharing pitcher helps to make it not so hot to the touch for pouring. It’s still hot but tolerable. I love the carrying case too. It’s sturdy and well made. It’s a great value for the money and looks pretty too.

The tea set arrived well-packed in its original packaging. The Amazon packaging left something to be desired. This is glass after all. The case for the set had some slight texture differences on it, which I suspect are due to temperature fluctuations in shipping and storage. It does not affect functionality, and I'm being nitpicky about it. The glass itself feels well-made and sturdy. All pieces nest within each other nicely, and the towel is long enough to fit between everything and prevent them from clinking together. Other reviews indicated concern about the size of the holes in the infuser. I do not share those comments and find they are perfectly sized. A good quality tea will have very little making it through. The glass can and will get hot during use so be mindful.Overall - I recommend this set if you are looking for something small and compact. Everything packs together close and tight so I expect this to last many years without risk of breaking during travel.

Excellent Tea Set
Bought it as a gift for a tea lover who lives on a boat and everyone fell in love with the design and practicality. Great construction, but I’ll take off one star on account that it doesn’t provide better insulation for the hot tea in the cups. Having said that, the set is perfectly sized, extremely portable, and beautiful to use. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again.

Travels well - not great at making tea.
Glass transmits heat very quickly - need to use a bit of paper towel etc to prevent burning fingers.Plastic on pitcher gives off unpleasant odor when hot - perhaps this will fade over time, but right now it totally drowns out the tea aroma.Just a bit clunky to use. I much prefer just a plain old gaiwan.
