Amazing Espresso Glasses!
I just purchased these espresso glasses and I couldn’t be more happy! These are the first espresso glasses I have ever purchased as I am just getting into home brewing. Everything from unboxing to quality of the glasses is above my expectations. They feel like quality glasses that will last a long time to come. After unboxing and testing it’s time to give my review of these Glastal double wall hand made espresso glasses with handles (set of 2 and 120 ML).*Disclaimer: I was not paid or gifted these for product review, I purchased these on my own dime and am giving my honest review.*- Packaging: It was nice and clean. It came in a small, yet sturdy cardboard box that felt like a quality product right from the start. Upon opening I saw each of the two glasses were double bubble wrapped and separated by another sturdy piece of cardboard. This added a lot of protection from possible breakage in transport so two thumbs up! Inside were two glasses, a well designed thank you note from the designer, and an information card about the glasses and proper use and maintenance.- The Product: After removing the glasses from the bubble wrap, I could instantly see and feel that these are quality made and are meant to last (with proper care and use). They had a sticker with the company name on them, and even that was quality as it was one of those stickers made for glass, not one that uses adhesive and leaves behind a residue. They have a decent weight to them, not too light and not too heavy. The glass is crystal clear and on the bottom you can see the part where the blown glass was broken off from as mentioned in the product description. The size of them are perfect, big enough to collect all of your espresso, wide enough for that perfect sip, and even the handle is can fit one of my fingers through with ease. I felt around for any rough spots/lines that you would fine on cheaper made glassware, but couldn’t find any. This proving they really are handmade with exceptional care.- Using and Cleaning: Upon my first use I could see that my espresso was nice and hot, while the outside was drastically cooler to the touch making them safe to handle even when your drink is piping with steam. I could feel that they held the espresso nicely and had a clear view from all angles of watching the glass fill up. After use I hand washed it, I can’t say for dishwashing as I don’t have one, but it was easy to clean and dried without any spotting or fogging.- Final Thoughts: After purchasing and using these glasses I can honestly say that I fully recommend them. I couldn’t find any negatives, but will be sure to do an update later on if any arise. For the great price and quality you will be sure to be impressed and wanting to use these with your morning espresso routine!I hope this review helps anyone who is considering purchasing these.
