These Grainear Gold Table Runners will instantly make any table look like it’s waiting for the Royal Family to come to tea! They come on a roll, so they can be easily be measured out and cut to the right length. (How many of us have 10-foot tables?). These table runners are made of polyester threads covered in hot-stamped metal foil: gold on the top side, silver on the bottom. (See photo.) So you could use it as a silver table runner, with the silver side up, if you wanted to. The gold is a rich, deep yellow gold that just pops against pretty much anything. The foil is very thin, with a beautiful random lacy pattern. These table runners provide a fast-food way to achieve fine dining elegance!The product description suggests that these can be reused. Perhaps they can be, if you’re very, very careful and very, very lucky. As long as they are kept clean and re-rolled carefully after each use, they might possibly be reused a couple of times. Gorgeous + sophisticated over a white tablecloth
I have the silver version of this runner, which looks great with my silver formal silverware and reminds me of mercury glass, but I was SO excited when I put this gold one over my white dining room table cloth that I just got back from the dry cleaner. It is gorgeous!!I can’t wait to use this in decorating for Thanksgiving or Christmas with my mother’s brass candle sticks and a simple floral white and green arrangement.The subtleties of the open design, with the see through positive spaces, looks like gold leafing. It is elegant and sophisticated, plus the quality is good —-background appears to be a diffuse very fine mesh to give support to the open design.You could simply run a collection of different sized pillar candles down the middle and let the candlelight bounce off the gold leafing design. It will be fabulous with minimal effort, either on a dining table or larger scale dark coffee table.The price is very reasonable, even more so if you’re able to roll it up and reuse it, if no one spills their red wine on it.
