made some delish cake pops with these
These are great and they make great half golf ball shaped ice, jello, cake, hard candy, or anything else you want to put in it. I do wish it came with 4, but product is as advertised and still a good value. They are super easy to clean and accurate to the size of a golf ball, if you were to slice it in half.
Very Good! I recommend it %100
You cannot make a full-sphere ball with these!I bought this to make realistic full-sphere cake pops by melting together the 2 sides, only to discover upon demolding that the pattern stops too shallow to make a full sphere. Pretty disappointed
Makes realistic looking golf balls. Really easy to fill. If you don’t leave solid and want hollow shells you have to be extra careful when removing because they will break. Easy to clean after use. Love that you can make a bunch at once so if some do break it’s not the end of the world.
These are exactly as pictured, but don't think you are going to get a whole golf ball out of it. It is two separate trays that do not fit together. Each tray will make 20 half golf balls. They are pretty flimsy. If you are planning on making ice cubes, you will have to set the molds on a tray first, then fill them and put the tray and the molds in the freezer. Then you will get 20 or 40 half golf balls. There is no way you can pick up the mold without spilling liquid. It would probably work for batter or melted chocolate that doesn't move a lot, but if you fill it with water, you won't be moving it without a tray underneath. In fact, I wouldn't try moving these without a tray with any kind of liquid in them.I wouldn't advertise this for ice cubes to be honest. Candy? Probably. Cake molds? Yes, but again, you are only getting half golf balls. The trays do not fit together to make a whole golf ball. And you will have to put them on a tray or baking sheet first before filling.
These Golf Ball molds are super fun. The design is fairly accurate, but a little bit off from a "real" golf ball. The pattern does not go all the way to the edge of the mold, so creating a sphere out of two halves, will require some finesse if you want the pattern to be continuous. The silicone is quite thin, which would make some chocolate molding difficult, but otherwise they should work fine.
