Loved this bowl soon as I saw it used it right away perfect size pre dinner chips and dip
This bowl is super pretty! It is a good size and well made. The ceramic isn't blemished and there are no chips or cracks. I like that the dipping dishes are separate from the bowl...it makes cleaning it much easier, plus I can use the nice big bowl by itself if I want.
Nice appearance
This serving bowl is very nice and is a great addition to any kitchen!Pros:-High-quality material-Extremely large-Dipping tray provides a lot of versatility-Dishwasher-safe, microwave-safe-Can be used for so much more than just a serving bowlCons:-Delicate material, will break if dropped unlike steel or plasticI got this bowl as a multi-use product, but mainly as a large mixing bowl, not a serving bowl. Every kitchen needs a variety of mixing bowls and this has definitely served that purpose for me so far!I have used it to mix ingredients, wash veggies, and serve salads, and it has done it all excellently! I have run it through the dishwasher many times and it has not caused any damage or wear on the bowl.I have not used the dipping cups that are placed on top of the bowl yet but I will say the dipping tray sits snug on top of the bowl and I have no concern that it would cause any issues when serving a dip.The only slight concern I have is that it is made of porcelain and can and will break if dropped. Porcelain has so many benefits like being microwave and dishwasher-safe, and very long-lasting if taken care of, I just worry about dropping it.Overall I am very happy with this item. It feels like a high-quality upgrade to my kitchen that I already have gotten a lot of use out of. It can be used for so many things and I hope to get use out of it for years!
Great serving and entertaing bowl. Dips to sauces. The tray is detachable so you can utilize the bowl itself if needed. The dipping tray is perfect for anyting from taco night to salads.heavy weight, made well I have used this mulitple times and I have been hand washing. The white mixes in with all your home decor no matter what. Smart gift idea as well.
This is a great bowl and very heavy - definitely heavier than most of similar size. The only negative is that there's absolutely no markings showing the country of origin, manufacturer, materials, or care information. It came in a non-branded box and there's no company or product information or anything else other than the bowl in the box (zero reading materials or pictures). I really wish there was at least the standard "made in..." stamp on the bottom of the bowl. While there's no product images or instructions, the purpose and setup should be pretty self-explanatory, but still something to consider if you're getting this as a gift.I like how heavy the bowl is because to me it makes it more difficult for small kids and pets to accidentally knock it off the table, but some might actually consider the weight to be a negative, especially if handled by someone frail. You'll want to consider where to store it too. It's not just heavy for a ceramic bowl, it's almost marble/concrete or cast iron kind of heavy. Given that it's meant for serving appetizers/dip and not for cooking or oven use, I'm not sure the added heft is necessary, but I personally like it.The finish is clean looking and white as pictured, except that on mine there's one defective area the size of a dime. It's a small protrusion where the surface is raised, not sure if it's an air bubble under the coating or something else, but it's not too obvious.
