Convenient way to get evenly sliced apples
This apple wedger has held up great! We use it almost daily and haven't hard any problems with it. We've broken other brands of apple cutters before, but this one has stayed sharp and continues to get the job done. The handles are just the right size and it's firm enough that it holds the pressure when you're pushing down on the apple. I'm a pretty pathetic apple slicer myself and end up with lopsided and uneven pieces. This is such a convenient way to get 8 evenly sliced pieces of apple for siblings who compare the size of everything they get on their plate! Fun to use to make apple nachos by slicing an apple or two and drizzling caramel on top with some crushed candy bars or nuts as toppings.

Works well
Strong and easy to use. Toughest thing was to find place to store it since it's larger than my previous one. Of course, it's strengthened structure couldn't be achieved with the flimsier plastic ones I had previously.

Apple cutter
Wedger is very sturdy, handles are big and easy to grip. the only con I see is the cutting blades are not sharp. Sometimes it takes a lot of push to get the job done. All in all its well worth the price and saves a lot of time slicing.

This thing is awesome, I use it just about every day. No more cutting my fingers while cutting apples. Mine wasn't as sharp as some reviewers are saying, so I have to use considerable force sometimes. Sometimes the apple rotates a bit while cutting, leading to a crooked core and seeds in the wedges, but all in all way better and faster than using a knife.Edit:Broke in 2023, lasted about 9 years of moderate use.
