Really nice ice trays. The cubes are about 1-1/4 inch squares. This is a good size for the cubes. The trays are sturdy and the lids lock on tightly. I know it has been mentioned there is no lid for the ice bucket. This is not a problem for me as I don't want to remove a lid every time I grab a few ice-cubes. Not expensive so easily worth the price. I bought the light blue, $1 cheaper and no difference between this and the black.
Very easy to use. Nice sized square cubes that fit easily into narrow openings like thermoses. Very durable at a great price! Highly recommend!
Makes attractive ice cubes. Releases fairly easy with a twist; especially if allowed to dit a minute before releasing. The ice storage tray is basically useless, too small-would be nicer if deeper. Also, scoop is too large for tray; so also useless. I use the scoop in my flour canister, tossed the tray, and use a larger ice cube tray I already had. Nice having lids for do they can be stacked and keep out any freezer odors.
I really like these they work really well. I love that they aren’t silicone so my ice doesn’t smell weird. The cubes are a good size and you get so many of them with the two trays even just one is still a good amount.. I like that there’s a lid on each of the trays so that the water doesn’t spill out upon transfer to your freezer after filling it and you can stack them a lot better with the lid on. They came out very easily from the first tray. It was a little bit more challenging on the second but all you really need to do is run a little bit of cold water over it and dump it out with a bit of light twisting. It’ll do enough to loosen the ice cubes if you do it cold, but they won’t melt. I would say it still works better than a lot of standard plastic ice trays. I’ve really small hands. I think it looks visually fine, better than standard ice trays. I like the colors available. I got black and turquoise because they were a dollar cheaper at the time. I don’t know why people complain about the design though because it’s just an ice tray. It’s not the centerpiece of your dining room table.
This ice cube set up is great!The cubes are the perfect size, the trays make lots of cubes so there’s always a supply. The trays have covers so no water spillage.This is as good as having an ice maker!
I love these ice cube trays. They are nice and sturdy. The cubes are a good size. They are pretty easy to get out but come out even easier if you run warm water over the back of the trays for a few seconds first (Just make sure the lid it on good before you do it). I would definitely recommend these ice cube trays.
As with most Gorilla products, quality is fine. One thing to note is the capacity of the ice container: there's no separate lid for the box; it's necessary to leave one of the ice trays in the box to cover the ice, thus reducing amount of ice that can be stored. A dedicated lid for the container would be useful, and I'll probably get a different ice storage container with lid.
