This mat was purchased for my coffee bistro at home and is commercial quality. The dark brown color blends with the countertop and is thick enough to disallow heat to penetrate into the wood. The silicone grip makes it flexible enough to remove for easy cleaning. No stains observed after using it for several months now. Its use is met so the value for my money is met.

I like this mat because it's well made and has a great, non-slip feel to it. It's easy to clean and maintain messes due to the raised edges. I only wish they had more size options. It would be great if they made an accessory that allows you to cut and join two ends so that you can further customize the sizing. But, that aside, this is a great product for it's intended purpose.
