I love this ceramic cookware set! It is well made and looks beautiful. My eggs and pancakes just slide out of my pans. I accidentally left pasta cooking too long in one of the pots and I thought I ruined the bottom as it looked burnt, but with a little warm soapy water it came out! I was so pleased. I love that 2 of the pans have covers as well. I highly recommend this set.
I bought this set as a travel set. Now I will be purchasing a set for my home. They are as pictured and nice to look at. These are great to cook in. The non-stick surface is true to the description. The lids fit tightly. I loved the performance of this set. After the first use, there were not any stains left in the pans. Everything washed clean away.
Paint chips after a while but they are still good quality as far as cooking goes. Act as non stick, barely have to use oil or butter.
I needed a set of pots and pans that were non stick and after doing much research I decided to invest in Gotham Steel hard anodized. My friend had one from Costco and loves it so I found the full set and purchased them on Amazon. Although they aren’t cheap at $200, I get cook a lot and wanted to make the investment and I am so glad I did! After using them for 6 weeks and putting them through a lot of use and cleaning, I think they may be the best pots and pans I’ve ever owned. I have a set of All Clad and it was beginning to get old soaking the pans and/or pots to wash them so that is why I searched and found this set. The hard anodized material of the pans give them some weight and really do spread the heat evenly as advertised. My favorite part, however is the nonstick aspect. I’ve used the fry pans consistently every day and nothing sticks! Ditto for the pots. People who have described this pan in reviews as nonstick and complained, probably haven’t read or listened to the instructions. The instructions that come with the pans instruct that you need to use them on low to medium heat, which I have done and found no issue at all. And cleanup is a breeze, you can throw these right in the dishwasher and they come out ready for use. I also used metal utensils on the fry pans a few times and haven’t seen any scratches or wear on the surface of the pan. In terms of what actually comes with the set, I’ve found it covers nearly every standard use pot and pan with the sauté pan and regular skillet being my favorites. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for and willing to invest in a great cookware set.
It is wonderful, I love them, i got them and washed and cooked bacon and no sticking and super easy to clean! They are very durable they made.
Received this item and two of the pots/pans had their ceramic coating scratched straight out of the box. One sharp enough I was afraid I would cut myself on it. I was not looking to return the entire set over just two items, and digging through the Amazon customer support section, was directed to a "replace damaged item" section with Gotham Steel's customer support.I initially called the support line and expressed my concern of 1) the labor of trying to get all these pots and pans back into the box to have to return everything when I just need two replacement pots/pans. 2) the environmental impact of returning the entire set over 2 items. The representative quickly agreed it was nearly impossible to get everything to fit back in the box once out, that she had tried herself and gave me the customer support email address to explain what happened and send photos to.When I did that, Gotham - despite the fact I was able to register the set for their 10 year warranty on their website and it allowed me to select Amazon as the retailer I purchased from - told me that they could not assist me as I did not buy directly from their website. While they sell their products at Walmart and Amazon - and will force you to return to the retailer. So now I have to try to shove all this back together, for a factory defect. Putting me way out of my way.When I sought further clarity on why the warranty was not applicable here - customer service has completely ignored my emails.So:1) the quality of these pots is suspect if they are arriving damaged2) for a company that boasts being green friendly, their policies do not support this.3) They absolutely do not stand behind their product and their warranty is useless - even though they let you register for it - unless you by from their website direct.4) After that customer service experience, I doubt they would even help you if you did buy from them direct.Basically, take your money elsewhere.
