This is the second time I've bought this so I already knew I loved them. I still have the first set but it's packed up and I need serving utensils. I'm Chef at a lodge and the utensils here are just not attractive for a buffet. These are big, heavy, sturdy, and very good-looking. There is no real design so they go with everything. I highly recommend!
Best bang for the buck!! This set is EXACTLY what I wanted. If you want big, family style service ware for healing spoonfuls of mashed potatoes and stuffing etc etc then buy these. They are really quite big and very sturdy. The mirror polish and heavy stainless steel is perfectly honed to be comfortable in the hand. They feel "soft" to the touch not like cheaply cut and roughly polished flatware. There's a satisfying heft and hand to these. I was hesitant at first because if the price but they far exceeded my expectations and I'm a picky person. I had no problem whatsoever using these at my small family gathering recently. I really doubt anyone would be dis appointed with these. Superior product... Highly recommend!
These are lovely durable serving utensils. Nice enough for a wedding reception buffet but durable enough for everyday use. We have several items from Mikasa and have never had a product quality issue! They look beautiful and elegant after many uses and turns in the dishwasher.
Mikasa is amazing for a brand and we LOVE this set. We have had our flatware paige for 8 years and I was concerned this wouldn't match. Actually, it matches enough, it never bends and we have had more compliments on each piece several times. If you like large flatware, that lasts and you need side pieces this was definitely worth the money. Might be an amazing gift as well.
I was expecting pieces that were a *bit* weightier when I saw that these were Mikasa and stainless, but they are good looking and sturdy pieces regardless. Not the lightest weight, but not as heavy as I'd prefer either. However, good for when I'm serving a LOT of food, beyond what I can do with my nicer set. Went through the dishwasher with no issues and overall a good value for the price. Came nicely packaged also.
Was hesitant to buy because such a good price and was not sure but Mikaski is a good brand. So glad! Looks great! Can recommend.
These serving pieces have real heft and quality. In addition, they are very attractive.
