Surprisingly enough, nice quality
While searching for a pasta maker attachment, even after reading the reviews, I still had some trepidations regarding the quality of this product.When it arrived, my wife and I opened the box and took out the attachments and I must say that we were both impressed with the quality. I will say that it is very Heavy, and while using it, it did a great job making our homemade pasta.I shared with my wife some of the negative comments regarding the cleaning of this attachment and she stated to me that in some cases, it sounded to her as if they had too much Liquid in the pasta dough. If your dough is sticky, you do not want to use the pasta attachment until you make the dough less sticky, adding more flour.PROS: sturdy, well made, performed very well for us.CONS: at this time, nothing to note.

I wish I had gotten these years ago. It makes pasta way easier. I haven't bought pasta for years since I learned how to make it from scratch. The 3 attachments make it sooooooo much easier to make pasta now. The product has held up well and I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to make pasta. Clean up is very easy with the little spatula/brush that comes with it. It is also way cheaper than the Kitchen Aid attachments that are the same.

(White pasta press) Don't bother, it'
This review is for the "White Gourmet Pasta Press Attachment", not the "Metal Silver" pasta roller attachment that most of the 5 star reviews are talking about.I've been making pasta at home a couple times a week for 40 years and I know what I'm doing; I got this after my beloved pasta extruder machine bit the dust, but this thing is in no way a replacement for it - it simply didn't work.I first used the recipe from the booklet - it came out way to wet, almost like bread dough - it very slowly extruded a little very soft and wet stuff that wasn't shaped at all. So I added enough flour to make the consistency more like hand-cut pasta dough; about 25% more flour. This jammed the machine, nothing came out. I ended up hauling out my old manual pasta roller; the dough worked just fine in this. I didn't bother trying the dough consistency I used with my old extruder machine, which was dry and crumbly, it would have broken.Unfortunately I didn't get it returned in time, life got in the way; so I'm stuck with this awful $40 waste of plastic. It's going into the garbage bin where it belongs; I won't give it to charity like I do most other things I don't like or use, I'm not going to make someone else's life miserable. Don't waste your time or money like I did.To address the AI points -It's not durable, it was warping and twisting ominously even with the soft dough.Whatever thickness it was, it wasn't thick enough.It was NOT fun to use, it gave me a headache after a couple hours trying to make it work.

Pasta attachment a good deal overall!
The pasta attachment doesn't cut the pasta, it just perforates it. You have to separate it by hand. But rolling the pasta worked fantastic! However, the build quality is excellent and will last a lifetime!

Worked like a dream.
This arrived yesterday and today I made spaghetti and it came out great (according to my friend from Milan). This was the first time I had ever made pasta and it was simple. Afterward, I used it to make cannoli shells (run the dough through, wrap around metal cannoli forms and fry. They came out great. Honestly, I couldn't be happier.Oh, and the icing on the cake (or the filling in the cannoli) the supplier slipped a clipped coupon in on the sale saving me $20 bringing this in under a hundred bucks.
