Excellent

My son recently got into smash burgers and I was tired of making them 2 at a time in a frying pan. I can cook for a whole party on this thing, it is basically like having an electric blackstone. It makes cooking anything go super fast and it’s fun to use. I’ve done steak fajitas on it as well and was able to cook the meat, peppers and onions all at the same time, side by side. It heats fast and cooks evenly, just a joy to use. I like the non-stick surface, it is easy to clean up after use. I use it both indoors and outdoors in my grill gazebo. It stores nicely in my cupboard for quick access when I want it.

Would be 4.5 stars.I have had this for almost a mounth now and was waiting to use it with different meals. Did the vegetables oil treatment on it as per instructions.I am quite satisfied with this product. Once it gets hot, the temperature is fairly even across the surface. It made numerous batches of pancakes which turned out great. The hamburgers cooked evenly and caramelized very well. Just bear in mind there is a slight learning curve with anything new.The cleaning was good. Wet wash cloth wipe off with the pancakes. The hamburger crust came off with wetting it down with soapy water ( dawn dish soap) and gentle wash. Came out like new.The only con would be the plug on the cord gets hot. Could have used a heavier guage cord.

Poorly made

I am giving this item a one-star rating due to some issues I have encountered; I would give it less if I could. First, the surface does not heat evenly. When cooking pancakes, the outside edges will almost burn before the center is cooked. The next problem is that, when using this griddle a second time, the Ceramic surface felt very rough. I thought at first it was just something from the bacon that I had cooked. But I couldn't get the rough feeling off after washing it. It feels like the coating on the griddle is bubbling up. I am afraid this will start to affect the food I am cooking.
