Nana loved her new tea towel so much. The tea towel was included in a birthday basket we made for my mother and it complimented it so well. The towel is soft and the art print is very pretty and detailed. Overall, this is just a really cute tea towel that brought a smile to mom/nana.
I like this kitchen towel, but I had to take a star off because the image is just printed on, and not embroidered or sewn into the fabric. What started out as a bright, sharp and colorful image, is already faded and worn after just a few washes. The towel material is good quality, but the product is let down by poor image retention.
Great semi-custom decorative towel for NiNi's kitchen. I've never seen a "NINI" on anything pre-made so that's pretty cool. The towel has a soft waffle-like texture and is the type of material that is more for decorative purposes rather than functional; It is not super absorbent and is almost like a blended microfiber. When I run my (very calloused) hands across it, my rough skin catches on the fabric. I don't know how else to describe the fabric. This is not a towel our NiNi will use because she will display it proudly in her kitchen like a coveted prize. That's what NiNi's do. The printing appears to have been done well, the colors are saturated and this will make a nice surprise for someone's NiNi.
This towel is cute, and what I really like is the large size. It reminds me of a flour cloth in size, and if it weren't so pretty, I might even use it as such. The fabric is a waffle weave, but I am unable to find the fabric content anywhere. I think it is either polyester or a poly-cotton blend. The description says that it is designed to not shrink or deform, so that hints at a polyester fabric. As such, it is not as absorbent as full cotton. I also love that it is inclusive of Hawaiian grandmothers, but feel that the design could have been more Polynesian since the design looks very North American. Overall, it's pretty and would make a nice decorative towel. It's also large, so even though I have concerns about the absorbency, I can confidently give this four stars.
