Great Kitchen Helper

It is a nice knifeI have been spoiled by the Victorinox knife of the same style, which has a thinner blade and just feels better in the hand and seems to stay sharp longer. These have the benefit of being cheaper. I like them well enough to keep them...will probably consider price as less important next time I need to replace, and will go back to the Victorinox.I like how the blade holds and pulls in what it's cutting, instead of "pushing" it. BUT the drawback is that if you catch your finger, you WILL cut off a chunk of skin or more - so be careful and be blade aware.I like a knife that cuts well at all times - and I love the small ones for small food work -- I even use these to trim flower stems, since the blade cuts so sharply and quickly.

Impressive value. Longer and thicker than Victorinox bird's beak paring knife for 1/3 the price.Here is a comparison of these high value, inexpensive paring knives.
