Might actually make you a baker.
This pie dish makes me feel like I know what I’m doing, which is honestly half the battle. The wide, wavy rim practically coaches your hands through crimping a crust, and suddenly you’re standing there like, “Yes, I am an all-star baker, thank you for noticing.” It heats evenly, handles high temps without complaint, and works just as well for savory bakes as it does for desserts, all while looking ridiculously cute in that retro blue. Cleanup is easy, the results are consistent, and my confidence has never been higher. If a pie dish can give you main-character energy in the kitchen, this one absolutely does.

Great looking ceramic pie plate.
Arrived safe in its special box that helps protect it.So I did a deep dive on what makes a good pie plate. The bad news on ceramic pie plates is that they don’t conduct heat well. So in turn it takes longer to bake a pie and the crust may have a harder time getting golden brown. They do hold heat well so if you bake a dish that will sit on the table for quite some time, ceramic may be for you.Ceramic dishes like this Great Jones sweetie pie 10” look incredible if appearance is high on your list. Setting this on a table with guests looking on will win you rave reviews. The dish looks great and it seems really well made. A Quick Look at the Great Jones website shows that it is a women-run business based in New York. This ceramic dish comes with a one year warranty. When choosing a 10” pie dish cost is always a factor. Let’s face it, this pie dish isn’t the cheapest when browsing Amazon. The Great Jones company is based in the USA but there is no guarantee this dish is made in the USA, which if it was would warrant a higher cost.So to summarize I think the dish looks great and it seems well made. I like that it’s a USA company and it’s woman run. But I feel it’s slightly more expensive than it needs to be when compared to others.

Checked all the boxes for me!
Before I ordered this pie dish, I'd never heard of Great Jones . I ordered the dish because I didn't have a pie plate for serving guests, the design reminds me of the 1970s/80s bake and serveware I love to collect, and. the colors are perfect match to the rest of my stuff. It's a gorgeous dish in person, and was shipped in a box that I think could be run over by a delivery van and survive.Though I won't have time to bake until this weekend, I decided to give it an unofficial test and popped a frozen pie out of its flimsy tin pan and used this dish to bake it. Oh. My. God. What a difference. With metal pie tins, my crusts almost always come out burnt. The edges and crust on my store bought pie (not an ideal test, I know, but I was itching to try it) came out soooo good with the Sweetie Pie. Golden brown and crisp.A couple of things to keep in mind with this dish. Because it's pottery/ceramic bake times may need to be adjusted longer (mine did). Also, I found the bottom of the dish to hold heat a long time, much longer than the sides of the plate, so be careful about picking it up, and also exposing it to sudden temperature changes until it is completely cool. You don't want it to crack or for the finish to be damaged.I don't own a microwave; I hate them. And my dishwasher is countertop size; too small for this plate. So, I can't report on how the dish performs in either of these situations.

Quiches, Pot Pies & More | Durable, Round Oven Safe Baking Dish 500°F | Microwave & Dishwasher Safe
Quiches, Pot Pies & More | Durable, Round Oven Safe Baking Dish 500°F | Microwave & Dishwasher SafeThe advertised baking dish claims to be durable, round, and oven‑safe up to 500 °F, plus microwave‑ and dishwasher‑safe, but it fell short in every claim. After a single use, the dish cracked while still warm, and the finish chipped noticeably. It also warped in the dishwasher and left a faint metallic aftertaste, making it unsafe for food. Given its poor build quality and misleading safety labels, it earns only one star.

Really nice pie dish, perfect for those family gatherings!
Really nice pie dish! I love the design — it has that retro look but still feels super cute and modern. It is a bit on the pricey side, but the quality definitely shows, and it feels very durable. The packaging was also really nice. Overall, a great piece to bake with and looks really nice out, so perfect for gatherings or the holidays.

Quality pie dish with homey feel
I'm the one in the family that usually bakes all of the pies for the holidays. I have a couple of glass pie dishes that I normally use but I like this new ceramic one. It is well made and has a homey white and blue glaze that looks very nice. I used it recently to make a blueberry pie for Thanksgiving. It was plenty deep enough to hold all of the contents of of the pie filling and double crust. The pie seemed to heat evenly and baked at a standard time schedule for the pie. I plan on using this one primarily over the glass ones from now on.
