nice product

Impressive out of the box. Then I cooked some hotcakes on this pan and it worked perfectly so I bought the dutch oven with lid too. Oh. I did slather the pan with peanut oil and got it hot in the oven before I cooked on it. No stick, Very nice. I know it's China made but seems to without void and is all Iron/Steel. Been a week now and the hotcakes come out so perfect every time, I can't imagine ever being without one of these. Recently I found one similar at HD for $15 but the pan was pretty rough compared to this one. Actually no comparison. Then I got an idea and used my Random orbit sander starting with 280 grit wet paper and started sanding the HD. Took about 45 minutes. Then 400 grit, 600 grit. for about 1/2 hour each. Smooth as glass, then seasoned it. Unbelievable. Only took 3 hours and 6 sheets of wet/dry paper and I saved $30. I must be nuts.

Smooth & Good

Don’t like that it has natural patterns that make the pan look old. I’ve only used it a few times and already it looks like I’ve owned it forever. That said, very smooth, also very heavy. Wish there was a way they could make it a little lighter to carry and maybe consider adding a pot handle opposite the long handle so you can use both hands to carry the griddle. It’s too heavy for one hand carrying. Cooks very well. Make sure to heat the pan until smoking point then add oil and lower the heat. You shouldn’t have any sticking problems. Also avoid cold food hot pan. Appreciate the free rubber handle they sent. That was a happy bonus. Helps make handling the pan safer.

overpriced af

overpriced and i wish it was actually polished or smoothed shiny, not just “milled”. but other than price, my only real complaint is that this pan is convex shaped instead of concaved, mean all the oils and fats tend to go to the outer most edges and seem to run away from the meat or food in the middle or literally anywhere else, and it’s annoying trying to get the food into the edge or the oil out of the edge
