I bought a 30oz Beast Cup and an extra lid, as I didn't want to pay $24 to replace my broken Rtic cup lid. The new Beast cup and lid are excellent!Turns out the spare lid fits mt Rtic cup as well, so I didn't have to pay blackmail price for the Rtic lid. Another small victory.
For whatever reason, the lid that game with the mud seemed loose. Not so much thay it was unusable, but the reviews said this one was tighter, some in a negative way. Personally, I think this is tighter and that it is a positive attribute.

I have a 40 oz mug made by another company (think of the word "arctic" and leave off the first letter). The lid was wonderful for 2 years. And then the mug fell from a height of over 4' and the lid cracked. I tried to purchase a replacement, but that company lists them as out of stock.But wait a minute! Green Steel has a lid they say fits the RTIC 40 oz mug! Happy day! Happy, that is, until I used it. It leaks like an unnamed White House source.I thought that my mug might have been knocked slightly "out of round" by the drop onto the concrete. Nope. It is perfectly concentric.Then I bought a Green Steel Brute 40 oz mug from Woot (an Amazon company). Green Steel's mug. Green Steel's lid. And a mess all over my kitchen counter.I put water, ice, and iced tea mix into my mug, put the top on, and shake to mix. The RTIC doesn't spill a drop. The Green Steel flings liquid all around the room.And there is yet ANOTHER problem. I take a few medications through the course of a day. And the design of the opening on the Green Steel lid is so poor that half the time, I cannot get enough liquid out through the lid's opening to wash down a pill. I have to remove the lid in order to wash down a small tablet.My son (a 33 year old aerospace engineer) recommended the Brute to me. He has one. I think I must have messed up when I raised him. If he thinks this is acceptable performance, I fear for the U.S. Navy personnel who go to sea on the submarines he builds. But that's another story...
Fit well,good seal better than the original, easy to clean
Since these are obviously made specifically for the "BEAST" line of tumblers from the company they fit perfectly. You should not have to expect otherwise. But compared to other offers for replacement lids from other companies that offer replacement lids for all different makes and sizes, and sometimes with better features, these are a tad expensive I think, although there are also more expensive ones of course. But also because of their size perhaps, these are also a bit more difficult to get from other companies that offer replacement lids.The biggest problem you will find is when you are looking for also a DIFFERENT color than BLACK.The different color of "BEAST" tumblers that you can get come ALSO with a matching color of lid. Fantastic and beautiful !! BUT when you E-mail the company about the possibility of purchasing a replacement lid for the color of a tumbler purchased awhile back, your questions are not being answered.YOU WONDER HOW YOUR MAIL IS RESPONDED TO WHEN YOU APPROACH THEM ABOUT A PROBLEM WITH YOUR TUMBLER THAT IS ADVERTISED WITH A "LIFETIME WARRANTY" ! I hope to never have to find out. The tumblers I own myself, so far have given me no reasons to check this out. Also no problems with the several tumblers I have given away for presents in the past, that I know off. Hoping this will stay this way ! Anyway, this was my take on it.
