Great Replacement for Disposable Tiny Containers

These tiny reusable containers are a more eco-friendly option for storing and packing tiny food items. I like they're light weight, stackable, and have a tight seal.I always feel guilty buying and throwing out the little disposable sauce containers with lids. But for some things, that's just what you need.I like these reusable condiment containers for storing and packing small things. When securely attached, the silicone lid does a fantastic job of keeping liquids inside - they do not leak even with vigorous shaking! These are perfect for packing with lunch for dressings or olives, without leakage like a plastic container.I won't use them for storing everything, because I feel it's too much of a mystery what's inside, since they are metal and opaque tops. I sometimes store a tiny amount of extra fresh ground spices or homemade sauces, but these would need a label to remember what's inside. Easy enough, I guess. Way more eco-friendly than plastic, and lighter than glass jars.The containers held up very well in the dishwasher, sparkling clean, and somehow the rounded bowl shape of them is just right that they did not flip upside down on the very very top rack shelf.These containers hold just a little less than a quarter cup filled to the top. However, I would suggest leaving 1/4 inch space at least at the top, because you need to press the silicone lid down in the center a little to best secure it to the edges. A center press and running the fingers firmly over all edges is the effort needed to seal these well.I do feel the price is a bit high for the limited function of these containers, and it would be a splurge for me. However, the quality and materials seem very good and they do a great job with what they are intended for.

Perfect Size for Kids Lunches

These containers have worked perfectly for my kids lunches. We have tried several other brands and the biggest problem has always been the lids. They either pop off too easily or never sit tight enough to prevent leaks. These lids feel secure right away and they stay in place even when the containers get tossed around in a lunchbox.They wash easily and everything inside stays fresh. Cleaning out lunchboxes is already enough of a chore so not having to deal with leaked dressing or spilled dips is a huge relief. The size is great for condiments sauces or small snack dips and it has been exactly what we needed for daily use.When I compared these to our old stainless steel containers the difference was obvious. Those ones looked similar but the lids never sat fully flush and always left a small air gap. We also tried snap on lids that cracked and push in lids that claimed to self seal but still managed to pop off. These new ones do not have that issue at all. So far they have been reliable sturdy and mess free and they have made packing lunches much easier.

Great Lids

I got these because I like to make my own condiments in small batches in tin containers like this, and I usually end up with a little left over that I want to save for the next day. Before this I would put it in a sandwich bag and store it in the fridge, which worked but felt wasteful. Tiny, cute, and well-made

These are made from quality materials that I feel good using if I want to avoid plastics. I was a bit surprised to see how small they are. They hold about 2 tablespoons of liquid.The lids fit on extremely well. I filled up one container with water, put on the lid, and shook it all around, left it upside down, etc. It did not leak at all. You do have to be very intentional about putting these lids on with 2 hands, pressing all around the edge to get it sealed. Do not expect preschoolers do be able to do this themselves at school.The base is stamped with the code for stainless steel, and the lids are silicone. The bases are very heavy and will not dent or be flimsy.My husband saw these and asked if he could use some for oil painting supplies, to hold painting mediums and solvents.
