I love these straws and have them in various sizes for all my drinks. They are environmentally safe, have no taste of their own, and are easy to clean with the cleaning device they include with the order. I scrub the insides, and pop them in the dishwasher. Highly recommend.
I was having holiday drinks and wanted a straw for my midsize glasses. These were perfect. Just the right size with the bend at the edge of the glass. Very easy and comfortable to drink from without the “tin” taste of my aluminum straws or the odd size of my bamboo straws. Guests loved them. Plus they are easy to clean. I just rinse them with the included brush and throw them in the dishwasher or you could hand wash with the included brush. I highly recommend them.
Our family has tried different types of reusable straws such as metal, bamboo and other glass straws. We think that these particular straws feel the best drinking through, the perfect length, they are crystal clear and clean up easily by hand or in the dishwasher. The natural cleaning brush is a tight fit until it gets broke in. Instead I use a synthetic one from a different set. This is our second set, in that time we have completely eliminated plastic straws.
These straws are elegant, and this is a must-have, but be careful when cleaning/handling glass straws, especially when washing them.
e: Almost two years have passed, and the straws are holding up wonderfully!-----Just received these, but the included cleaning brush is too big for my straws.I pulled out a straw and started cleaning it before use -- the brush inserts just fine, but becomes thoroughly stuck, which makes it impossible to scrub the straw. I had to remove it by gently 'unscrewing', hoping the whole time the skinny metal handle wouldn't snap and necessitate pliers. Thankfully, I have other straw cleaning brushes, but others might not.Love the idea of biodegradable & recyclable items, but they need to be fit for purpose in the first place; at least I have other straws I can use the brush on. That said, the only other reviews mentioning the brush comment on its usefulness, so I either got a defect (or wrong size included) or am using it incorrectly.The straws themselves seem good! Like something in a science lab. Smooth & sturdy.Time will tell, but I am happier paying for items made under fair working conditions, so <30 USD seems like a great price for that, much less the 16 I paid...
Final decision was that they goes in the dishwasher. They are TOP QUALITY.
I decided to try these because I was tired of handwashing plastic or bamboo straws. Healthier option and dishwasher cleans it well. I love it
