My son just moved into a new studio apartment and needed several items for the kitchen to get started. So, since he needed salt and pepper shakers, I decided to get him something that is unique and quirky.These ceramic shakers are very well made, are substantial, and are a very good size for a small kitchen table. I like that they sit on a holder that matches the bright yellowish orange of the shakers. They have a super cute design that appears to be similar to a sunflower, but I really think they look more like decorated eggs while sitting on a sunflower. The shakers fill easily from the bottom and have a sturdy silicon rubber stopper. The size allows to fill with enough salt and pepper to last for a really long time for a small 2 or 3 person household. I have some arthritis, and I found that the shakers are easy to grasp and hold on to while I use them.

We love these! Our kitchen has a cheeky farm house vibe and these shakers match it perfectly. They hold a good amount, so you don't have to worry about refilling them constantly. I like that the s&p doesn't come flying out like some shakers, but you also don't have to shake it like crazy just to get a little seasoning. The size is nice too because it's fairly easy to hold. My kids are able to grasp these easily. My dog has grabbed them off the table and the shakers survived his "super chewer" mouth, which is saying something. I really love that there is a matching tray included.
