Great for all types of Pasta!
I love this little noodle machine. It works well with the larger attachment for the wider noodles. I made several batches to dry out and put in freezer bags. It's a good value and cleans up nicely. I use my mother's recipe: 2 Cups of flour, 2 eggs, tsp salt and a little water as needed. I put all the ingredients in my Cuisinart, process until it is ready to knead and shape. Let it stand for 30 minutes and put in the tube. This recipe makes about 4 tubes so you can halve it if you are planning on using the noodles right away.

Easy to use
Okay so, the little shoot you load the dough into, it is small. So. You need to prep all the dough you'll need ahead of time. 1 shoot full gives you, in my opinion, half a serving, maybe 1 full one. I used the spagetti mold. It didnt take very long to charge, it went from a blinking red light to a solid red light but worked fine, used it for about 4 go throughs no problem. The consistency it requires will leave it sticky, but to my surprise it doesnt get stuck inside. My pasta stuck together and it started to turn the water a white gelatinous thickness. I added more water and it did help some but you definitely need to seperate the pastas before boiling and throw some flour, imo, on the pasta before boiling. Good product though, just takes time to perfect but its good. Glad i finally got one.

It won't hold charge long enough to finish one batch of pasta dough (120 grams each dough ball).
It worked well....once. 120 grams pasta dough, charged great the first time. Died after the one pasta dough was pushed through. I plugged it in to charge for an hour. Nothing. I waited a second hour. Nothing. I charged it overnight and still nothing. Reading through the troubleshooting page takes me to a pasta maker machine. There was no place to contact seller, so I'm writing here. It is easy to clean. It's slow for a pasta gun, but that wasn't overly bothersome.

Great for entertaining guests and kids meal prep
As a rule, making pasta requires a little work. After all it's much easier to buy dry or fresh pasta at the grocery store. Given that, this device may not be ideal for those who want to prepare a pasta dish in a hurry. The dough making, extruding, and drying the pasta all takes a significant amount of time; however, the device is great to entertain dinner guest by watching the pasta making process. Remember, fresh pasta doesn't have to dry and can be placed in the boiling water right after extruding.. It's also a fun device to get children involved with the dinner preparation process. And kids love pasta.
