We use this 3 tier cotton basket to hang onions, potatoes etc. It is made from a very heavy, tight weave, macrame material. It is attractive enough to hang in your kitchen or an office and is neutral enough to compliment any decor. It seems to be very sturdy and, so far, it has held heavy potatoes, onions, etc. with no problem. There is no smell to the fabric, which was a concern. The only thing I would change, is for the pouches to be a little larger for what I use it for. Other than that, it is working very well, it is super sturdy and it looks nice.

This set of crocheted hanging baskets is so great in a number of ways. First off, they are made of sturdy cotton rope, soft enough not to be scratchy yet strong enough to hold up and be very durable. The texture of the baskets is closely-enough crocheted to hold items securely, yet open enough to be decorative and airy. I love that these can be hung as a trio, one beneath the next, or they can be separated and hung individually. They are designed to very easily attach or detach from each other, which is another thoughtful design element. The only difficulty with these is finding the perfect spot to hang them: I originally planned to hang them in my pantry, but now that I have them, I don’t want to hide them away out of sight! These could alternatively be used on a closet door, inside the front entry of my home… so many possibilities. Regardless of what I decide, these are going to be very useful, and I will enjoy having and using them - wherever I choose to place them. Maybe the solution is to get more of them! ;o)
