This is a 17” x 2.5” Stainless Steel Roasting Pan with Nonstick Rack that I received awhile back & have been utilizing. It is roomy enough to hold a over a 20lb Turkey & has wide handles that help when it comes to basting, etc… The pan itself is stainless steel & cleans up easily. The rack is non-stick, which I like but it has already started loosing some of its coating. There are also some scratching going on that has caused it to rub off even more. For the price the pan sells at, I cannot agree with how poorly it has held up. If the rack issues could be fixed then it would be fine. Overall, I am divided over this pan due to good versus the bad so I gave it a 3.5 stars & I always round up.❤️🔥Shalom…

Solid built with quality issues
I really like the size and the weight of this roasting pan. The handles seem to welded in securely, and feel solid.I think the pan will have multiple uses in my kitchen.That said, there are some issues that I need to mention.I don’t know whether it’s a quality control issue, or not enough thought and care is put into original packaging, but my pan arrived with dings and scratches. The replacement was in a very similar condition.When you look at the rack, which has visible scratches, it makes you wonder if it is rust-proof, or whether it will get scratched easily during use.This is not an inexpensive roasting pan, so I would expect a much better quality for the price.

Strong Pan!
This pan is just perfect! The roasting rack is a great fit. I love it because it can go from searing meat on the stove top to roasting it in the oven. It's a nice heavy steel. It can go in the dishwasher for clean up. It'll hold a 25 pound bird or roast. Then back on the burner to get up all the bits for making a gravy. I've used it to make a lasagna. it was perfect. Nice deep sides. Perfect fit for the noodles. It washed up beautifully. Can't beat the price. I've been wanting one for a long while, but shied away due to the price commitment. Then I saw this pan and I have zero regrets. I wouldn't hesitate to gift this as a wedding gift or housewarming gift. I'd add some silicone grips for the rack or handles to be easily lifted. Add in a cookbook and you've got a complete gift set! I'm going to try and make a cake or shortbread in it next! I'm not limiting myself to only roasting with this pan!

This is NOT 300 series stainless steel.
I am really disappointed in the HAPPIELS 17x12.5-inch Roasting Pan.The pan is highly magnetic indicating that it is made from a 400 series stainless steel or just plain steel. The 400 series will stain and corrode. Quality cookware is made of 300 series stainless. The pan has 2 dents that appear to be from the manufacturing process rather than from shipping. Every surface of the pan, inside and outside, has tool marks from the press that formed the pan from sheet steel.The rack is less magnetic indicating 300 series stainless. The black "Nonstick" surface on the rack has worn off where the handle rotates around the rack. I believe the nonstick surface will chip off and get into the gravy as the rack is handled. If the coating chipped off during shipping, it will chip off during cooking.I do not recommend this roasting pan because it is made of 400 series stainless, it scratches and dents easily, and the nonstick surface does not stick to the rack.
