This heated ice cream scoop works amazingly well on rock-hard ice cream. It heats up quickly and glides through without any effort. The LED display is a nice touch, and the rechargeable design makes it super convenient. Easy to use for both kids and seniors, and cleanup is simple since it’s waterproof.
This heated scooper works great and is charged and ready to use right out of the package. Holding the handle activates the heating mechanism, and it continues heating for 40 seconds after you release the handle. It heats up quickly and is ready to use in no time. It takes about one hour to charge using the included Type-C cable, or you can use your own Type-C cable. The battery percentage and temperature is displayed on the base of the handle. It also has a silicone cover that should be kept on to protect the charging port when washing. Overall, it’s a really nice scooper, easy to use and handle.
My daughters and I have hEDS which makes lots of things harder, but my oldest has almost no dexterity in her hands and little strength in both her hands and arms. To scoop ice cream, she normally has to microwave it to get it a little softer to manage. This works like a charm and makes it so much easier! I like that there are no additional buttons needed and that your hand essentially activates it, which also makes it safer from being turned on accidentally or left on. This warms it up so you can scoop more easily and is not touching the ice cream long enough to cause it to seriously melt. Perfect scoops every time!
This is a VERY cool gadget. It heats up fast and works great. I only deducted a star because the touch-based on/off makes me nervous. There is no way to manually turn this on or off - it heats up when you hold it, and theoretically turns itself off after some time of not being touched. I worry a bit about this somehow turning itself on in the drawer, like if it touches a silicone tool that “feels” like a human touch, or if the touch sensor is faulty in any way. i’ve been keeping it inside its box in the drawer to hopefully prevent any issues. maybe im just being paranoid! otherwise this is a GREAT product.
This ice cream scooper is amazing and so useful. It’s really easy to store and use. It comes in handy each time I want ice cream but it’s too frozen to scoop out. It heats up quickly and takes nice scoops out and smoothly. It charges easily and fast. I like the color as well. I really recommend it if you enjoy ice cream as much as me and often have to wait to be able to scoop it out.
I'll start with the good.It heats up and allows you to scoop out ice cream straight from the freezer.Unfortunately, that is where the good news ends. It doesn't heat up to the temperature that it says it heats up to. It reads "100 degrees" but feels just slightly warm to the touch. That temperature should burn my finger as soon as I touch it. So the temperature readings are off. You have to be ESPECIALLY careful to not get water into the area where the plug to charge the spoon would go. Which for me personally, makes it a little annoying to clean. I figured how to use it with these "quirks" which involves some muscle power on my end which to me kind of defeats the purpose of a heated ice cream scoop.TL;DR : This spoon is a five star idea with a three star execution, but for the price,it still might be useful to you.
This spoon very good size, perfect for me to hold in my hand. It's not very long and it's not very heavy, tho it does have some weight to it - obviously heavier than a regular spoon. It comes pre charged and starts heating as soon as you take it out of the box - it is activated with your touch. Very interesting that if you hold it, it keeps heating.It is not dishwasher safe, but the quality and convenience is worth it. It's so much easier to scoop cold ice cream now!
