One of my favorite new kitchen accessories you can’t go wrong

One of my favorite kitchen accessories these scissors cut through any type of poultry or meat you have with such smoothness it’s as if you are slicing through butter. They are very sturdy and heavy in the hand, but not too heavy, where they are uncomfortable. The sharpness is great. Chopping Up Some Ribs

These poultry shears seem to work well. I actually used these to cut up racks of ribs before I grilled them. I took my racks of ribs and trimmed them up a bit and then used these shears to cut them into smaller racks to put on the grill. The shears seemed to work well compared to me chopping through the rib bones with my kitchen knife. I’ve definitely dulled a few kitchen knives chopping through my rib bones with the wrong knife. These kitchen shears made more sense to use. I do need to say, you will still have to use a little force to chop through big bones, but overall, using these was more efficient and they worked well. They are easy to clean and are still sharp after several uses.

Nice and sturdy

These are heavier than I expected but that's a good thing. They seem very solid and like they'll hold up for a good while. As advertised (though it took me some messing around to discover), they do come apart so you can wash them properly, you just have to push a little button in that's stopping it from moving far enough to remove. Similarly, they're spring loaded, which is nice, and you can lock them closed with another little button right next to the first one which keeps the two sides together. One outside edge of the blades is serrated, for scraping scales and such it said, but as long as it stays sharp I think the cutting surfaces are all I'll really use. The rubber(?) bands along the handles are nice to give you a bit of a grip.

Super heavy duty kitchen scissors

These scissors are hard core! Don’t think you’ll be opening bags of salad with them, these are definitely for cutting through bones! I actually had to break down a whole chicken for some chicken soup shortly after they arrived and I was super impressed with these scissors. I was easily able to cut the chicken down into eight pieces and add them to my stock pot. I realized this will make spatchcocking a chicken for the grill this summer will be so easy! The scissor are whole metal pieces so I didn’t have any worries about bacteria getting wedged in plastic handle covers or anything like that. There is a button to hold the scissors closed which is super helpful for storage. You can take the scissors apart and one piece is a knife you can use as a regular knife…but honestly these work best as scissors. I will definitely use these scissors for all sorts of chopping and cutting chores in the kitchen.

Nice for chicken or quail

These poultry shears are heavy duty. I'm really pleased with how they perform and they're larger than I expected them to be. I suppose you could use this for more than just poultry, but it's meant to go right through the bones too. Which it does well but I try to avoid simply to avoid dulling the blades. The only complaint I have with this seems to be a common one. It doesn't like to stay closed. I keep these up high and out of the way to avoid any potential issues or hazards with such sharp shears.

Heavy Duty

I did not realize how BIG these guys are. Even so they are comfortable to hold and rebound from closed with a nice spring. There's a pin to keep them closed, but I'm not sure I trust it, as it is only in the hole a millimeter or so. Overall they are extremely sharp and the serrated edge on the outside is great for tasks that require one. I don't cut through chickens because I am wimpy about it, but it has cut thru everything I threw at it while making a roast from the chuck roast to all the veggies. I really like it. It comes apart easily enough, but not so easy that it will happen when you're using it. Overall some really nice shears if you don't mind them bigger than you expect.
