Powerful pair of scissors with one small imperfection

This one is powerful and cut through fish and poultry bones easily! Very happy with its durability too. The only thing can and should be improved is the gripping parts should have durable rubber coatings. Metal grips can be uncomfortable when cutting tough stuff.

Some sturdy shears with a nice finish on them

I really like the finish on these shears. It's very pretty. They are sharp enough for my purposes so far but I think I may need to sharpen them at some point. They do the job of cutting things like chicken pretty well but they probably do need to be sharpened. I don't believe they come apart which means that they should probably be used carefully so that bits of meat don't get up in them. As far as I know they won't rust on you, they haven't rusted on me yet anyway. I believe the metal is treated somehow. These shears are a decent value if you just need some basic ones. I think you can pay a little more and get some that come apart for easier cleaning and they may be a better value. But if you just need some shears in a pinch these are great and they are very ergonomic in their design, the shape is very efficient. If they came apart for easier cleaning and sharpening they'd be perfect.

Sharp and durable, with a comfortable grip.

Not only nice and sharp, with serrations, that cuts incredibly well, but also extremely durable, being able to cut through the stuff that breaks regular scissors. The handle is very comfortable, without being cramped around the fingers, being designed to be used with the curve of the blades facing up or down. These scissors are multi-dexterous, allowing right or left handed use, with equal comfort. These scissors do weight a bit, at least compared to light duty paper scissors, that most people think are usable for anything. The grip is able to lock tight on stubborn caps, giving you a grip advantage, to twist off that cap, without feeling like your skin is tearing off. So far, there is little that these scissors do not do an excellent job of cutting through. Some effort is needed for the more difficult items, but they cut well, giving you decent control. Twenty dollars for these scissors is more than reasonable, based on the quality of their construction, and cutting ability.
