Larger than a grocery bag
These bags are great to carry in the car for when you weren't planning to stop at the store on the way home. They don't take up a lot of space, but are sturdy enough to live in the trunk.If they get dirty, it's easy to toss them in the laundry. Also, if you're so inclined, you or your kids can decorate them (could be a good rainy day project with a set of Sharpies).The material is pretty thick. Not as heavy duty as duck cloth, but definitely like a thick canvas. The inner seams are serged and then stitched, so you shouldn't have any fraying.The one thing that's a little odd is the 2 sets of handles. There is a short set for carrying down by your side and then a longer set for slinging over your shoulder. They are right next to each other, so kind of get in the way of each other depending on how you choose to carry the bag. Not enough if an annoyance to dock a star off the review, but something to note. I do appreciate that the manufacturer considered the use cases for the design.The other thing I like about these is there are pockets inside so you can separate contents if needed. There is a small bit of stitching midway across the top of the pockets so the top doesn't get in the way if putting other stuff into the main section. You could easily fit 2-1 liter bottles in a pocket (so 4 total).

Large, lighter duty, and carry really well on your shoulder
These are fairly large cotton twill tote bags with a shallow gusset on the bottom and long, light-duty cotton webbing shoulder strap double handles. I was pleased with the quality of the stitching and the quality and type of fabric they were made of, but the straps do disappoint me a bit. That strap material seems like it would not be durable with frequent or heavy use over time. So, that's not quite what I want in a reusable grocery bag. I also just feel these are not for carrying very heavy stuff.To me, the best use for these bags would be to use them as attractive, reusable gift bags or boutique clothing shop bags, or silk screen, paint or decorate them. I actually got them because I so often want to give a friend something, be it baked goods, secondhand clothes, or some kind of present, and I hunt around for some kind of bag more presentable (and perhaps more roomy) than a plastic grocery sack for their convenience in carrying it home with them. These are actually perfect for that. They weigh very little and the friends I give them to are highly likely to value them as utility bags for random carrying tasks when leaving the house, or even for organizing stuff at home.The light natural cotton color looks nice. I am concerned it will also show dirt, but grocery bags get set down on the ground or they get food or etc on them. Grocery totes that start to look gross and dirty are likely to have a short "reusable" lifespan before they get disposed of, and if so are they actually more environmentally friendly than plastic or paper versions?I do assume these bags will be washable, but again the fragile cotton webbing handles are the weak link.

Arrived dirty in sealed package
The material itself is nice and so is the bag size but I won't buy again. Several of the bags arrive dirty and one had numbers written on it in blue ink. I had to wash 5 of the bags before I was able to personalize. I would have sent the order back and gotten a refund but I was in a pinch and needed the bags for gifts.

Super quality tote bags. Ideal for personalizing
Wow! These are great quality canvas tote bags. I was pleased to see the dimensions are perfect for a trip to the library or the grocery store. They would be ideal to bring some crocheting project or knitting project. I like that the canvas lends itself to being personalized with iron on decals or permanent acrylic paint. I plan to decorate these bags with acrylic paint and use them for a church function. The straps are sewn on well. The material is lightweight enough not to be too heavy, but they are strong enough for books, athletic items or crafting. I highly recommend them.

Big bags for shopping
These cloth bags are great for shopping, grocery and otherwise. WHile the material feels thin, it seems strong, with the dual handles (one for over the shoulder and one for carrying) strongly attached. The inner sleeves are great for holding bottles upright rather than rolling around at the bottom of a regular grocery bag. One thing to note, these bags are big and filling it up with heavier items like canned goods will probably be quite heavy, but for produce, cereal, pasta, etc, fill it up!

HUGE, sturdy, durable and environmentally friendly
These tote bags are MUCH better than the usual plastic bags we use for shopping! They are incredibly roomy, with pockets along the inside to hold things like cash, wallet, car keys while shopping. I really like the fact that they have both short handles for carrying by hand, and longer straps for carrying on my shoulder. The stitching seems strong and the canvas is thick but not heavy, so they appear very durable. They definitely won't rip easily. Machine washable too. And the best part is, they are environmentally friendly - way better than the reusable plastic ones! I will be ditching my plastic bags and using these for years to come.
