Letters like to slide around, making it hard to use

I picked these up hoping to use them to press Hebrew letters into clay. Trying to line up text in both pottery & cookie baking can be annoying at best, depending on how exact you want the text to be. The letter trays help somewhat, but the letters don't sit in nearly tightly enough (especially if you're trying to press in a phrase instead of just a single letter). Adding a wad of clay in between words and at both ends helps a lot, but that makes an additional mess (and I'm not sure how well a similar tactic would work with dough...although the dough might be easier to clean).

Fantastic set!

Why is it so hard to find Hebrew anything?! I got this so that I can make clay molds for my friend who is Jewish and it was so difficult to find anything. I'm so glad I came across this! It is a little on the expensive side, but given how rare it is, I don't care. The pieces slide into the holder easily and seem like they are good quality and will last a long time. I don't speak Hebrew, so I can't speak to if this is a complete set or not, but there are a lot of pieces.

Use a ruler or straight edge to line up the letters

The letters came in a bag all jumbled together an had to sort them so I could use them. The board is not included. I dont know if that board makes it easier to line up all the letters for imprinting, but it would have been nice to have if that was the intended purpose. As of now I am free hand imprinting one letter at a time and I dont like how uneven it ends up. I am sure If I was a real baker with many hours that this would be effortless. For now I am using a ruler to line up the letters and then dab the dough to "erase" my mistakes. Its quite a bit extra work for me, but it does the job. I have a different item that has you line up the letters and symbols and you stamp it, so that Is what I thought would happen. I dont think its the end of the world, just more work.

This is a great set and is as described. The issue I have had with this is that it needs to be pressed well and sometimes it's doesn't imprint and then it can be tricking pulling it back up without messing up what you are trying to do. As of now, I am not a fan but if it changes after more use I will update my review.
