Great Quality Product, I LOVE it.
Perfect size, depending on how full you make the cup it can pour up to two or three cups of tea. (I usually pour halfway full.) The cup has a lovely white inner glaze, with small handles on the sides, the handles are more decorative than functional. And the teapot has handles to match on its sides and comes with a lid. The spout has holes that can filter out the loose leaves you may put in there. But I'd recommend still using a steeper tool. And it comes with a cloth to protect your hands from heat and a case to keep your cup safe. It was very nicely packaged and I look forward to the possibility of buying from this brand again. Very high quality product. And amazing value.Heat retention is very good. Waited 15mins to write this part and tea is still hot. The lip on the pot may be a bit difficult to clean, but all in all it shouldn't be too hard.

A definite buy for the travelling tea lover
The travelling tea set is an object of beauty and functionality. Everything fit snugly together and was packed with perfection. The small pot is ideal, substantial, and provided a dripless pour into the cup after brewing. The inside of the pot is glazed. The knob on top on the pot lid and the side finger rests when pouring provides a nice experience. The entire pot, lid, and cup are ergonomically pleasing. There is a nice hard carrying case that is zippered and keeps the pot and cup in perfect position. I kept the soft packing pieces that cuddle the contents as extra protection. Perfect for Gong Fu tea for yourself on the go. All you need is hot water. The item was the right price and would make an excellent gift for the tea lover willing to brew on-the-go - like maybe YOU. I was very pleased with the purchase.

Cute, functional, absolutely perfect
I loved this so much that I ordered another, just in case I break the first. It’s perfect for travel. The case keeps everything safe and sound. You can fit a little bag of loose tea inside the pot for travel. I love the little handles on both the cup and the pot so your fingers don’t get burnt. I got a lot of compliments from people when I used this on a trip recently.

Fantastic easy gaiwan for Gong Fu (Kungfu) brewing
This is an excellent little easy gaiwan for a great price. The outer glaze is a little on the rough side, which gives me an added sense of security - it's not going to slip out of my hands while I'm pouring. The size is perfect for 7 gram dragon pearls. Note, this is a TINY teapot. I bought it because it's the smallest one I could find on Amazon. For Gong Fu the pot should be completely filled with tea leaves. The clay of this pot has excellent heat retention, so I can really enjoy each cup of tea and not worry that my next one won't be brewed hot enough. If your steeps are coming out a little too hot to drink, it can help to underfill the teapot by a few ml and leave some cooled-off tea in the teacup when you pour. The pot is glazed on the inside, so it can be used for many types of tea without holding a smell from previous tea sessions (lapsang, I'm lookin' at you). The handles do get hot with longer steep times but I fixed that little issue by wrapping them with hemp cord. Wrapped handles really make this a perfect teapot! All in all it's a wonderful product, I'm very happy with my purchase and I just wish I had bought one sooner.

Looks good, terrible to use
This gaiwan looks very nice. However when using it to brew tea, the experience is terrible. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless they’re looking for just a display piece.Annoyances:WEIGHTThe gaiwan weighs ~150g without the lid, making it suck up a massive amount of heat for its size.I’m finding that teas I brewed for 20-25s on the first steep with a lighter gaiwan need over a whole minute with this gaiwan to taste full, and even then they’re missing some of the complexity I got with a hot & quick steep.Comparison points: I have a $10 gaiwan I bought off Amazon that weighs less than 80g without the lid and performs excellently.I also have a $28 kyusu from Sazen that weighs 85g including its long handle. Both of these vessels are better value for the price than this travel gaiwan.ERGONOMICSEven if you dial to this gaiwan’s relatively high weight, it’s painful to use.The handles on the side get very hot, to the point where it’s not possible to hold it while pouring tea brewed at boiling temperatures. The lid at the top looks nice with its off-center nub, but that means you have to place the lid in a perfect position to be able to hold the lid down. And the gaiwan doesn’t have any useful notches that guide you into placing the lid in that way.
