Elegant and high quality glass pitcher

The quality and craftsmanship of this pitcher is amazing. The design is both elegant and practical. The built-in spout and handle are conveniently placed making pouring a breeze. The top of the pitcher has a wide mouth opening, which makes it easy to stir the contents as well as pour things into the pitcher. The glass is crystal clear, which adds a touch of sophistication to it. The glass is also thick and durable making the pitcher very sturdy. The hermetic seal lid works great to keep my drinks fresh longer than my plastic pitchers do. I love that the base is square shaped versus the traditional circle. It makes the pitcher fit perfectly in the door of my refrigerator. No more having to rearrange the entire refrigerator to make my pitcher fit. The 68 oz capacity is the perfect size for my family. The larger size is more convenient and reduces me having to constantly refill it. The best part of the entire pitcher is that it is dishwasher safe. I hate having to hand wash dishes, so it's a major plus that I can just stick it in the dishwasher. I couldn't be happier with this pitcher and would definitely buy it again. This would also make a perfect gift for a wedding shower.

Good size and shape

So often I find the shape of pitchers terribly inconvenient to store but this one is great! It has a square footprint so things fit close to it. I wish all jars and fridge containers could be rectangular or square like this. It just feels like it takes up a lot less space than something round. I like how this pitcher fits on several shelves in my fridge and even in the side door, giving me lot of options for moving it around to a better spot when the fridge is full. The handle is comfortable and fits close to the body for ease of pouring and also taking up less space. The top opening is large, making it easy to clean. It can even be put in the dishwasher. I like that it is glass and not plastic, especially when I’m making infusions. The top seals well so I don’t have to worry about what’s inside picking up other fridge smells or flavors. It feels durable and well made.

Not a bad purchase

Solid tea pitcher if you don't want something massive taking up valuable space in your fridge. Nice and heavy. Not easily breakable. My only "complaint" are that the handle is super close to the pitcher itself so don't have fat fingers if you're going to use this.

Broke after 12 months!

I’m pretty pleased so far. I prefer glass pitchers and use mine daily. The glass is thick and sturdy. The handle makes me nervous but it’s thick and I also carry it by supporting it at the base. My last glass pitcher shattered in my hands as i was carrying it but this one seems to be better made.Of course, I prefer glass since it doesn’t stain or leach chemicals into your beverage. It also doesn’t impart smells if you make different types of beverages one after the other. My only suggestion for improvement: the pour spout should be better designed for a better pour. It would also be nice if you could pour without removing the lid. Currently, this is not possible. The lid must be removed to pour out your beverage. The lid is airtight so fridge smells don’t leach into your drink which I really like. I always have iced tea since I live in a hot climate.Update: This his pitcher lasted exactly 12 months and then broke. I bumped it on the formica counter and it broke in my hand. No injury but the bump was not very forceful at all. I was very disappointed that such a small bump caused it to break. I would have expected borosilicate to be more resilient.

Perfect

Personally I love this. It has a nice thick and heavy glass that looks and feels like quality. Functionally it can handle hot and cold just fine, but as with any glass products you will want to avoid rapid temperature shifts. Don't pull it out of a cold fridge and immediately pour in hot water for example, it would likely crack. The dimensions are a bit smaller than a gallon size milk jug so it should have problems fitting on refrigerator shelves. If you have a fridge with a wide shelf on the door it fits there perfectly. The lid at first was very loose fitting and I was disappointed in the seal but I quickly realized it's adjustable, turn the knob all the way clockwise and it fits snug. Overall I'm very satisfied with the purchase and the price.

Poor Top Design. Avoid!

Avoid! The pitcher is fine. The top is the problem, it does not stay on. It needs to be heavier and more suction around the rim. Also, there is no inner spout area on the top. Major afterthought. Fix the top, please!

It get the job done mostly

It’s not what I expected. It gets the job done as far as sealing it nicely, however I don’t like that you have to remove the entire lid to pour. It’s heavy duty and might easily break. But it does add a nice esthetic to my kitchen wear and was very easy to clean.
