i keep my knives very sharp, and i do not keep them in a knife block, so this has been a great solution - holds all the knives, keeps them safe, and it is really easy and convenient to roll and unroll
I have to transport knives, and this is a perfect solution. The design is spot on for transport, and the quality of the fabric is sturdy and protects knives perfectly. I feel like a professional chef! This is an absolute winning purchase. It works well for my needs and is a great price.
I love the look, color and quality of the actual wrap. It seems like it will look good and be durable for a long time. Having a sleeve for the knife is nice but it only has one larger slot which makes it hard to store knives with sleeves, which I generally like to do even if they are being stored in a built in sleeve. The one thing that is tricky is that it is not big enough to securely hold longer (10-12"+) knives due to it not having a flap at the top. Overall it is functional for smaller knives and it is thick enough to protect from the knife cutting through the canvas.

Bought this so we could take our excellent knives along on a road trip that included visits with family members who wouldn’t know good knives if you showed them. We find it dangerous to chop veggies etc with dull weak knives so have resorted to bringing our own. But packing and hauling them was also dangerous. This tough roll does the trick. The knives are stored efficiently and safely, we are safe, we have a great place to store them on the road. It even came with small blade tip guards to make storing and carrying our chef’s knives even safer.
Quite nice for the low price. Only problem is that the knife slots, aside from one, are quite narrow. So no chance of securing more than one tall blade. Won't work with more than one tall chef knife, or a nikiri, or more than one knife with a saya or blade guard.
I’m a professional chef. I purchased this knife roll to have my most used tools and knives with me in the kitchen. The knife roll came with very small knife tip guards (pictured). I tried them on my knife but don’t intend to use them. I prefer to keep my knives in their saya (knife guard). The longest knife I have in the picture is 44cm/17.3inches. The canvas feels sturdy and is waxed so it does show the folds because it’s waxed canvas. Great for the price. Would recommend.
