I have amassed a curated collection of Hestan Nanobond pans. I have all of the skillets, the 8qt, the 3.5 rounded and the butter pot. This 2qt saucier is the perfect size and shape for every day cooking. I think I will likely use this pot the most. Perfect for small batch meals. These wash like a dream, foods do not stick and they are gorgeous to boot.
This pot is a bit pricey, but it's totally worth it. It is well built and sturdy and has great heat distribution. Cooking with it is a breeze, and it's healthier than those non-stick pans. It's not completely non-stick, but it's pretty darn close. The size is perfect for a small family. Plus, it's dishwasher safe and easy to clean.
This is probably the best pot that I have ever owned; and it's certainly the most heat efficient. Logically, this seems like an overly extravagant use of money...You would think that you can get a pot that will do the same things, for $30-$40, but, no, you can't. All pots are not created equal, and this titanium pot is a joy to use. In some ways, the Hestan titanium pots are even better than cast iron; they are both solid, thick (for a steel pot) and have the same kind of heavy and tight-fitting lids. The major difference, is that the titanium pots require less maintenance. And both Hestan & Amazon offer monthly payment installments, which makes this pot affordable. Just get the one or two pots or pans, that you would use the most---assuming that you are an experienced cook, you won't regret it.
I wish I would have had this saucer 20 years ago! Do you need a Saucier? No, but has it made a difference? Yes! I got the Hestan on sale, so even though expensive, it was manageable and in line with other Clad offerings. Super easy to clean. Looks fantastic. Should last me forever.
Hard to believe the hype of these pans but fkrst time cooking on it and am sold. Way better than any stainless and carbon steel ive ever used. In fact, CS is gone from my kitchen. Ill buy a couple more of these and one cast iron and call it a day.These are amazon. Never had a stainless pan handle food like this. I dont need full sets, only buy pans I use. More a work horse chef. Won't have to buy another for rest of my life. These are soooo solid. Stiff really doesn't stick. It's not non stick but pretty close. The gap is how you nuance it, not that it can't entirely be. Just amazing.
I love the perfect cooking with Hestan. The saucier shape with its rounded bottom edges makes a perfect shape for cooking hot cereal, soup, a beautiful sauce (Alfredo, I'm looking at you).Highly recommend.
I didn't know what a different experience it is with excellent cookware. When I consider that I'll use this for a decade or more, the hassle avoided with cookware where food sticks easily or cooks unevenly makes this well worth the price. First thing I made was french toast. It always sticks, even on "non-stick" cookware with oil added. No problems with this new pan-- AND the handle stayed cool the whole time. I admit I cringed when I bought this knowing the price, but I'm loving it and have no regrets.
