This is a quality pan that I will have and can pass down. I am tired of the nonstick pans that continue to flake and then get thrown away, lather rinse repeat. This pan was not cheap but when you figure the time and money wasted on the other pans.It heats well, cooks great, large loafs and cleans easy. I have not seen any signs of rust.
Made in China, but appears to be high quality - thick, hravy, and well-finished. Haven't used it yet.
I have wanted these for a long time. They are my favorite purchase this year.
I have a small handful of hestan products and I love them all. This is so sturdy and has weight to it. The breads cook beautifully and evenly in it without burning. I haven't had any issues with sticking, so cleanup is a breeze. I didn't even grease or flour the pan, I just took a chance and had no issues each time.
Beautiful and weighty stainless steel loaf pan. I love their products! My first use for this one was to store my meal prep dinner in it in the fridge. The stainless keeps it extra cold. But baking works beautifully in them. Will be buying more of Hestan products as they put them on sale.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:One was perfectly MINT condition. Quite delighted with QUALITY of the Hestan products MOST OF THE TIME. But the second loaf pan was NOT in the same condition as the first, which right out of the box I could discern quickly. Sadly, the interior of the loaf pan was scratched with something abrasive, harder than the metal this pan was made of. And it was not due to anything in the box it was shipped in. BTW, the two loaf pans, came in the original Hestan box, ea. pan nicely wrapped in plastic, respectively. Then the white rippled box was inside a solid cardboard box each, to their own, and then that 2nd box holding the two doubled boxes were placed into a bigger box to be shipped. So the shipping quality was NOT the issue. This flaw was noticeable BEFORE the pan was ever packaged. This is an issue of QUALITY control before they take it off the shelf and put in the shipping box. Cooking ability:ExcellentShape:NiceSize:PerfectWorks well:Obviously
