I bought an 8 inch skillet at Target that did not come with a lid so ordered this one. I most definitely am not a handy type person with tools so was slightly concerned when I saw the handle was not attached but came with a little bag of screws and such but no directions. Alas, I told myself if I could make it through nursing school I could surely manage to get a handle on a lid! I did and it works great! Washes well!
Nice and sturdy
My frying pan didn't come with a lid, I bought this lid hoping it would fit and it does. It is made well and fits great.
So glad it fits! It was easy enough to put together as the diagram in the pictures was large and clear. Came with 4 screws, 3 nuts, 4 rubber spacers and 4 end caps along with the handle. I can envision the handle needing tightening periodically, but it was nice to include some extra hardware just in case. Recommended.
Just got mine, I like it. It solved a problem for me. It also comes with two silicon mats. My only take is that it's heavier than you'd expect from an 8" lid!
A good lid for my pan. It fits nicely. Some assembly is required to but the handle on. That was a little more difficult than I expected. They provided extra washers, nuts and rubber offsets.
The handle is easier for my hands than a knob with a potholder (no problem). Easy to clean, easy to see foods as it cooks and has a handy vent. Very pleased with this purchase including the price. Perfect size and does an excellent job of eliminating splatters, speeding cooking process.
